I like to tell you that I was not a Buddhist. But I converted to Buddhism when I was nearly 12 years old. I had a curiosity about the world, universe, life, death, ghosts etc and I found best answers from Buddhism. My open mind had no barrier to ignore common sense. Buddha told not to believe if it doesn't agree with your own kind mind (shortly). But some people even don't accept which are already proven, (curiosity is covered) things like Rebirth (hypnosis and children), entire Universe (no beginning), If killing a human is a sin then killing a animal is also a sin, and my point is we also are subject to rebirths as animals. (God is cruel if he create animals for us to eat), research show humans are not created and we are a development of a group of monkies (Evolution), Yes God exists, but they want our worship to extend that state, Brahma (Hinduism) exists and live longer than God but they return to the earth once their energy of heart falls or finished (power of meditation), The Lord Buddha stopped his rebirth (uncontrollable rebirths can lead us into hells, ghost and animal world which will give us lot of sufferings) and taught us the way to liberate our-self though meditations and to experience it in this lifetime (Maximum 7 years in Buddhist meditation can make a huge effect), We must find time for us to discover our own mind or our life can end at anytime if our God wish (Karma, accident, etc). What is the religion which gives us total freedom to explore and which tells us to experience it before accepting. Humans need material things to live but only removing our greed or craving can remove unsatisfaction (let go) from our lives and making no reason for another rebirth. Mind is a powerful tool which we can develop into a state than anyone can imagine. (Sai Baba, Balangoda Ananda Maitreya thero, Jesus, Buddha etc.)..Much more... No argument, What is the best religion?, Still you have to decide.
