Most westerners don't really know much about Buddhism. Buddhist path is very complex and much difficult. That is why Buddhists become monks.

Very true haha, and clearly I was no except to that stereotype. That's something I know now that I'm not sure if I expressed in this video; but what you just said is exactly my point: I had no clue. Not that the world could look so different through someone else's eyes, not that "how" a person thinks can change "what" their life is like, etc.
And that was the "lesson," which you're right, isn't a lesson about Buddhism itself, but was a powerful one nonetheless that opened the door for me to study Buddhism, as well as many other philosophies and belief systems, later on in life.
If there were a facet of Buddhism itself I'd talk about on my channel in the future, as a conversation about Buddhism itself, it would be about the inner self-discipline, willpower, and strength it takes to let go of attachment that creates that calm exterior us westerners see. Would you find that topic interesting and/or true and accurate?

I like your experience. There are many types of people we don't even imagine. You can discuss about Buddhism, it is your right. I was saying that the Buddhism is a very strange religion to westerners yet, not only you, but also I'm not qualified to discuss about it. Buddhism is not only queer than we think, but it is queer than we can think. You were inspired, but it was not because of the Buddhism. There is a difference between cultures and experience, most people follow the cultures, but Buddhism is all about the experience of mind. I'm not talking about you or westerners only. If you watch my video, you will see that I do weird things too. I'm not telling you that Buddhism is the truth, I'm saying you that it is a research that we have to do if we really want to know about it. Don't worry, Buddha told that you should follow the teachings of wise people, if it is not hurting your self and others. I think Jesus is a wise person too. I was a Catholic too, But my father was a Buddhist. Buddha told to treat every living beings with compassion. Animals are not our foods. We have evidence of rebirth (Young Muslim Girl Reincarnated https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms587_Kw-0s), but Jesus didn't even have time to explain us about many important things like rebirth, the process of birth, the process of punishments etc. You don't understand that if there is a creator, who created everything you don't have to blame the Buddha, and you have to blame the God for making many people and animal suffer. God believers are trying to make a short cut to go to heaven to have an eternal life, just by believing someone or a God.
However, Buddhist practitioners may not have time to do meditations to attain nirvana, but they are more kind to the whole world, which help them to go to heavens to practice Buddhism in heaven. Because Buddha taught Buddhism not only to humans, but also to heavenly beings. Don't think that we can't develop our mind to talk with gods, because this boy could meditate to talk with gods. Buddhist monks are not allowed to talk about their abilities but this boy is not breaking a rules of Buddhism because he is not a monk, but he can talk with Gods. Nirvana is the end of the mind. It is not easy achieve, but it exists. We need to make our mind so still by removing attachments to attain Nirvana. Many people don't have time to do it, but Buddha told us to practice hard minimum 7 years within our life time to attain it. In the modern world monks don't even have 7 years to practice meditation consistently. But it is not a problem with Buddhism. At the time of the previous Buddha people could live around 10000 years. I'm trying to achieve it with my meditation too (Meditation - To Attain Samadhi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9MGIOfxKFs). If we compare the powers of the religious leaders, Buddha was more powerful than all others. Humans introduced the God, so the human who introduced the God should be more powerful, but Buddha didn't introduce a God, so we can accept the teachings of the most powerful human being (Buddha).
However, Buddha told that there are 8 situations which people don't receive opportunity to follow. You are in one of them, most importantly you should be a human being or a heavenly being while a time of the Buddha. Some people don't receive it because of their other strong believes.
I think that you should be a unconditionally compasionate person to be a Buddhist, because higly compasionate people love Buddhism so much.

Christianity came after Buddhism, but so did the serpent in the garden of eden. Satan came with infinite knowledge to tempt Adam and Eve to bite into the forbidden fruit. I'm not sure I believe in any of it, it's just I have a gut feeling about Buddhism, it isn't about peace as we're led to believe.
If you have a gut feeling about Buddhism, you may have a gut feeling about the truth as well. Don't think that Buddhism is something that Buddha created. Buddhism is understanding the nature of life. If you are searching for someone who know about the life very well he is the Buddha. And if you searched many eons you can be a Buddha who can help others to find answers. Thanks for the information. What do you mean by 'we all have our own worlds'? Surely you see the same things I see, I know everyone is different but we all see the world relatively in the same way. How do Buddhists know of rebirth? How can you have bad karma and impermanence at the same time?
Buddha told that, our body is our world. What we can observer is our world. Each human feel and experience things differently according to their mind and the body, and animal see differently, some animal don't see colors, some animals can see heat, and if we become a heavenly being the things that we can experience in a heaven place is our world. We don't feel much difference if we compare two humans, but if we compare a human with an animal then we can understand that we all have different worlds. Maybe there are more dimensions we can't observer, so those dimensions are not belongs to our world.
As I think the Karma (actions) are being recorded in the fabric of the space (I think maybe the space behave like clay, which can change from time to time. Which can record our actions. Our mind is the reader of those data. Our body are the materials which receive the data from our mind. We change our location in the universe every time, so we may have left a lot of data in the space (our solar system is a vortex http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jHsq36_NTU). And our mind may change many place of the universe instantly (without taking time/ faster than the speed of light) which can cause to receive good and bad results (Karma) (Quantum Mechanics - Fabric of the Cosmos - Part 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54LHiziKtlA). According to Buddhism, when someone will go to heaven in the future their heavenly places are being created while they live as a human. Buddhist mediators can see their past lives when they attain the forth state of the Samadhi (not easy but, possible). Not only Buddhist mediators, but also there are Hindu mediators who can see past lives. 1.) I'll try to explain briefly about the causes and effects. But those explanations are my own explanations, and it is a highly possible explanation, so you can't reject it if you can understand it.
What is the universe?
Imagine a place infinitely far away from our earth. Do you think that such place exist or not?
There can be three possibilities:
1. There are 'space'.
2. There are 'no space'.
3. There are both 'space' and 'no space'.
What is 'space' and 'no space'?
those are waves. 'space' is going to 'no space' therefor 'no space' behaves like a ware, like a light wave.
Those 'no space' waves joins together and makes black holes (basic matter), which pulls the space and that is what which we call gravity, in which the 'no space' waves and those combined 'no spaces' (black holes) change it's speed, and create different forms of materials.
How materials created?
Materials are 'no spaces'. There is no space inside those materials, so the space moves into that no space, but never filled because both 'space' and 'no space' just move from one place to another because both 'space' and 'no space' exists at the same time, because this universe is unlimited. Those possibilities, existence and non existence (space and no space) combined together because 'only existence' or 'only non existence' is not possible to exist for an unlimited universe, because there is no one (Almighty God) to create existence (space), universe needs 'non existence' (no space) to manifest (to balance the zero and infinity).
How atoms created?
Atoms are just 5% from the material of the universe, so it is just a side effect of the big bang. There are many other type of materials which we have not discovered yet.
However, What created the atom?
What happened when the big bang? many 'no space' (particles) moved very faster while that explosion. That was the reason to create the atom. large particles can't move faster (around speed of light), because that can break those large particles into small particles. That is what happened. Big bang created many different particles. What is the size of a largest particle which can move speed of light? (in my opinion) That is the 'electron'. Electron is the creator of an atom. Electron was the largest particle which moved faster and which didn't break into more small particles like light waves.
How electron created an atom?
Electron particle is the largest 'no space' combination which could move in the speed of light without breaking into more pieces. space is moving to 'no space', so an electron (a group of no space) has some gravity to pull space while moving faster, but because it moves faster it didn't easily combined with another particle, but it could attract particles on it's gravity while moving, but the amount of particles it could attract was limited to it's gravity, that limit was the size of a proton. Even it started from electrons, but both happened at the same time, While the electrons were attracting, some large particles which didn't reach the speed of light (around the size of a proton) attracted electron size particles from it's gravity. And the size of the proton limited to the gravity of the electron, and the size of an electron depended on the power of the explosion (big bang). It caused proton to limit to the size of it, which depended on the gravity of an electron.
Every particle is waving on the interaction between space and no space. We know the electron is waving too, but space makes protons to move like waves too. We know that every particle in the free space going around something, that happens because the space is pulling them like a wave. If a particle doesn't move like a wave, then it moves to a direction. So the proton was also waving and moving to a direction, and it moves till it find something to go around it, like our earth and other planets found our son to move around to balance the interaction of the space. particles/matters can behave like a wave by joining them together or going around each other. So at the beginning of the universe there were small particles which created from the big bang which proton found to move around it to stop moving to an one direction, and to move around them which caused to protect another particle which we call neutrons. That size of the neutron limited to the gravity of the proton. so then the speed of the proton which moved with an electron stopped after creating neutron from the gravity of the proton. So after the proton was created by an electron, the extra gravity of the proton could attract more particles from the particle zoo of the big bang which helped to create a neutron, to complete the a less waving combination (atom) from those particles. But atoms was still waving due to it's capacity to hold electrons, and atoms still have some extra gravity on it's size, so atoms have to attract other atoms to stop waving and moving.
Black holes are pure 'no spaces' in the universe.
Some stars became black holes too. Till that became pure 'no spaces' they are mixed with 'space' and 'no space'
Gravity is: space moving to no space as an interaction of the universe.
I just tried to explain it briefly. If you can understand it you can understand the existence of this universe, which has no start and no end. You don't want a creator to create the creator, but you want a creator to create the universe. No need to create this universe. universe not started from the big bang. you have to define universe to understand the universe. As discovered, universe is accelerating, because universes are like waves. Our time will not move faster few billion years later. Then it will reach the end of the wave cycle, then all the materials (destroyed stars) will come back and touch each other to make another big bang.

Suresh Wanayalae Pam Nicha I tried to explain the law (corrected) of nature from my second comment. I think, the law of the nature is an interaction (waving) between the existence and non existence (space and no space) which created the gravity, atoms, cyclic process of the universe, cyclic process of the life and etc.. We know that the space is bending (gravity) because of the materials (planets / starts & etc), I think that the 'space' is trying to fill the 'no space' (material, stars, black holes and etc ) which caused to make all the things of the universe. Best samples for 'no spaces' are Black holes in the universe, where the gravity is unlimited. I guess it can be explained from the 'string theory' as well. Maybe those space and no space are like two strings (maybe it can work like a strings because of the directions it is waving) which cannot join, but can co-exist (like a couple of chromosomes of a gene.) in an unlimited environment (universe).

Buddhism acknowledges the existence of Gods, but teaches not to devote your attention to them, they are merely sentient beings, themselves seeking enlightenment. Suresh Wanayalae Sean Barr Buddhism don't teach us not to believe anything or believe anything, So if u want you can believe an existence of any God, but must be kind to all living beings, because according to Buddhism if we want to purify our heart we must be kind as much as possible while following the middle way to live. Buddhism is a purification of the mind, so if you can do it with the help of your God, that is fine. But according to Buddhism, if you don't believe truth of this universe (process of the universe), then you will not receive good results from it and it can lead you to receive bad results either on the Karmic reasons. As an example, If you strongly disbelieve that you will not receive good results for your good actions even after this life, then that thinking can lead it to happen to you. And if you think that you will not receive bad result for your bad actions, then that thinking can lead to give you bad results either, because you are strongly thinking against the laws of this universe. According to Buddhism, the bad is related to attachment, and the good is related to detachment, So there is a tendency in this universe to fall in to bad levels than good levels as a result of bad actions and believes, because the attachment is easier than detachment. and the detachment is against the stream of this universe.

I converted from Catholic to Buddhism, but I think Buddhism as a research which I have to do to find more about myself. I don't have a reason to accept or reject an Almighty God. I just want to find who I am and where I will go after death. I'm just trying the path of Buddhism to find myself, and I feel that I can do it with Buddhism, because I know with experience that the Buddhist meditation can change my mind and I hope to practice more to develop my mind to see my past memories. Unfortunately, we have only up to 100 years to live, so we don't have enough time to practice, so it is not a fault of Buddhism. So at least we have to try to go to heaven first to receive enough time to practice Buddhism. According to Buddhism there were human beings at the time of some Buddhas who could live around 10000 to 40000 years.

Actually materials were not created, but it just change the form from energy to materials, both energy and materials are forms of emptiness (absence of space). If you try to learn more about Quantum Physics, then you can try to find supportive evidences about this process. both smallest particles and the largest Black Holes which are in the center of the galaxies are created from emptiness (absence of space), that is why the space is trying to go inside those materials, and that is what we call the gravity. Both space and materials (absence of space) can co-exist like couple of strings, but without joining together to cease because the both "space" and "absence of space" strings trying to eat each other within this unlimited universe. A bunch of "absence of space strings" can make larger particles/materials. Both space and materials/energy (absence of space) existed and will exist forever because of both existence (infinity:∞) and non-existence (zero:0) of this universe. So if you think that this universe is an existence, you have to understand that there is a non existence at the same time. Materials represent the nun existence of this universe. This explanation totally agree with Quantum Physics which we can't learn from primary school. The form/material is a form of emptiness and the emptiness/space is also an another form of emptiness, so the both form and emptiness are like positive emptiness and negative emptiness.

Suresh Wanayalae Sorry dear, you need to understand the problem of life first to find a solution. What is the problem of life? I know with enough evidences that there are children who can tell about their past lives. And you can find people who were attacked by Ghostly spirits. One of my uncles can't bring meat to his house because he was being attacked by a Ghostly spirits. If you still don't believe the existence of Ghosts, without a fear you should be able to go to the Ghosts hunted places. You can find Ghost stories almost from every province. Science community accepts that there are 2 percent from the people who were hypnotized could tell about their past lives correctly and they could speak the language of their previous life. I think the level of mindfulness of this life and the previous life is important to see the previous life. I just can't ignore the responsibility of my next life. I guess now you know the problem. And still we can find people who have mental powers. So I think we can develop our mind too.
Why we need Buddhism? And what is the solution we can find from Buddhism? I’ll try to explain my own scientific explanation about it. According to Buddhism we know that we can attain Nirvana (End of life) If we can remove attachment to the worldly things. But how we are attached? I think we are not only attached to our atomic material body. If we are only attached to the atoms of our body, our life will end after breaking our atomic structure (death). But our attachment is so powerful, therefore we are not only attached to atoms of our body, we are attached to even smaller light, heat or other quantum particles or energy. There are “Black Holes” the center of our galaxy and all galaxies. The Black Holes can attach light particles because of the huge gravity or attachment. That is why the Black Holes are black. So if we are less attached we will not try to be attached to quantum particles like heat. But if our attachment is stronger we will be attached to quantum particles like heat. This can cause to continue our life. But we may not transfer all the qualities of our previous life. So if we want to attain Nirvana (End of life) we need to reduce our attachment to stop attaching quantum particles (heat or another form of energy) in which we can stop transferring us to higher or lower levels depending on the strength of our attachment. I guess that is Nirvana. However, Buddhism is all about purification of mind and increasing the quality of the mind, and the result of it should be Nirvana. So if you are kind enough, you will be kind to yourself and the all the living beings, then you will need the teachings of Buddhism to be more kind.
