Pew research shows 23% of Muslim Americans do not believe in Islam anymore; 18% of British Muslims do not believe in Islam either. A BBC survey in 2019 showed that in just 5 years the percentage of Arabs who identify as none religious went up from 8% to 13%. These numbers are going up every day. Where are these people? Hiding!! Why? Because of the threat they get if they talk openly about leaving Islam from moderates as well as fundamentalists.
Another scientific error in the Quran. The Quran in these verses (see post) suggests that foetus grows as a dot, then small meat, THEN BONES, THEN COVER THE BONES WITH MEAT!! This used to be the medical knowledge of ancient Persia who were years ahead of Arabia. But still scientifically incorrect. The Prophet (pbuh) used to have a wooden bowl in which he used to urinate and place under His bed. One night, He searched for it but did not find it and asked for it by saying, where is the bowl? Egyptian Mufti As-Shaikh Dr. Ali Gum'a wrote in his book 'Religion and Life – Modern Everyday Fatwas' that the companions of the Prophet Muhammad would bless themselves by drinking his urine. Let's move on to the story/hadith of how Quran verse 4:24 was revealed. The Muslims had just won a battle and were going to make slaves out of the surviving prisoners. It was normal for them to have intercourse with their female slaves (everyone did this, not just Muslims). Some of these women were still married (their husbands survived the battle) so a few people started to ask, “wait, these women are married and that would be adultery which we were told was forbidden.” So they brought it up to Muhammad and shortly after, Muhammad said that he received another Quran revelation stating that it’s not considered adultery if the woman is your slave. (the convenience of this revelation itself should raise an eyebrow)
While they COULD free and marry their slaves, it wasn’t a requirement at all. So at this point, many believers like to think that it was somehow consensual.
And that the women had the option of saying “no”
And that the women knew that if they refused, their masters would not follow through.
Or that the slave masters grew on the women during the waiting period to the point where they wanted it too.
But people don’t realize that Muhammad also stated that it’s forbidden for even a wife to refuse any sexual advance from her husband (unless he’s sick, injured, etc). Some like to think that Muhammad was referring to an ongoing problem of a sexless marriage but:
1. Look at the language: “if a woman refuses her husband’s calls to bed & he goes to bed angry, the angels will curse her UNTIL THE MORNING.” It’s clearly saying that a woman can NEVER turn down sex; that any time a man requests it, she must oblige.
2. Even if that were the case, most marriage counselors agree that fear/shame is a pretty bad tactic to fix marital problems.
So if Muhammad’s belief and teaching was that wives consent doesn’t matter, it’s very counterintuitive to claim that the consent of these women was of any concern to Muhammad and/or the author of the Quran.
And the fact that times were different then and that stuff like this was normal doesn’t change the experience of the victim. Whether it’s 630AD or 2020AD, a woman captured by force and made to be the property of another person would likely not want to have consensual sex w/that person. And time/location doesn’t actually mean the experience wasn’t bad for the victim, it just kind of excuses the people who did it because they didn’t know any better.
Furthermore, they were guided by god so if they didn’t know better, why would their god cater to that? At the expense of some innocent women?

We do not tolerate people attacking all Muslims. Muslims are our mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters....they are good people born into a brainwashing machine. But in their hearts of hearts, they are good people like you and us. We are here to open their eyes to what really Islam says. That is why we focus on the teaching, practices, and hypocrisy of Islamic beliefs. We never generalise to suggest every person who has a Muslim name or believes in Islam is a bad person. It is unfair to rely on Muslim sources to know how women lived before Islam. For history is written by the winners. But we do know something about women's rights BEFORE ISLAM from the story of Khadijah, Muhammad's first wife.She was an independent business woman, she was the richest of Quraishi tribes, she had the largest convoy of camel who traded with Palestine and Syria, had married two men before Muhammad, she choose her own husbands, in fact she choose Muhammad who was HER OWN EMPLOYEE! Colombomail Today reported recently that all new female Muslim entries of state owned University of Colombo had to comply strictly with a set dress code. ( https://bit.ly/2QGxRQ8 ) The dress code consisting of the Abaya, shoes and bag had to all be in pure black, the colour favoured by the infamous ISIS. This compulsion is carried out by the senior Muslim students of the same university.
There are complaints by freshman Muslim female students that the so called ‘Muslim Majlis' of state universities have taken it upon themselves to go to the extent of policing them to make sure they do not have any kind of interactions or communications with male students of other communities. This continues as a very unhealthy development even after the recent extremist Islamic terrorist activity, which culminated in the killing of more than 300 hundred and wreaking havoc in the lives of thousands of innocents. Unless the Government and authorities concerned sit up and take notice of this kind of undemocratic, discriminatory and imposing behavior by the Islamic bodies in universities, it's only a matter of time before matters would get out of hand.

All the materials containing, teaching and preaching violence, war, rape, slavery, bigotry, hatred, murder should be completely removed from the books including Qur'an, Hadees, Thafseers, Tharjumas, Fiqh Kithabs etc.
All religions schools should be closely monitored and regulated regardless of which religion or sect they belonged to. Sri Lanka does not need radical Moulavis, Monks or Priests.
News : Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has ordered the Muslim Religious Affairs Department to register all Muslim religious schools (Madrasas) with the Department.
He also instructed officials of the Department to re-evaluate the curricula of all Madrasas and prepare an updated curriculum with the assistance of the Education Ministry.
The Quran is full of metaphorical descriptions, which means one can make out anything out of it. Ultimately, Dawah people are looking for someone who is ready for the bind faith test based on one or two arguments. You pass it, you are in. CEMSL calls the government to ban FGM in Sri Lanka.

Parents bring girls as young as 3 months old to undergo the procedure that is known to cause sexual dysfunction, cysts, and birthing complications.
“This is a matter of faith,” Romly, the organiser of the circumcision event, said. “Sometimes faith cannot be rationalised, right? We are just following Islamic law. If it were forbidden, we would be against it.”
Farah said “I was circumcised, and so were my grandmother and great grandmother. We believe circumcision is a religious teaching,”
“We do this to emulate the attitudes of Prophet Mohammed, primarily his holiness and purity,” Deden Syamsul Romly, coordinator of the event and head of research and development at the foundation, told VICE.
A total of 230 boys and girls took part in the mass circumcision. Every child who was circumcised received a goodie bag with Rp200,000 ($14.57) and snacks.
