Arguments on Buddhism with Muslims
Buffalo Jack Why do you post stories asking us to pray then? Because praying for someone to get better is clearly asking a higher power to cure that individual. Get your story straight.
Yap Chong Buffalo Jack, Praying in Buddhism, it can a function as a form of self-talking or self-therapy in which one mentally talks through a problem, or talks through it aloud, in the hope that some new insight will come or a better decision can be made. Prayer therefore frequently has the function of being part of a decision-making process.
Yap Chong For Buddhists, prayer expresses an aspiration to pull something into one's life, like some new energy or purifying influence and share it with all beings. Likewise, prayer inspires our hearts towards wisdom and compassion for others and ourselves. It allows us to turn our hearts and minds to the beneficial, rousing our thoughts and actions towards Awakening. If we believe in something enough, it will take hold of us. In other words, believing in it, we will become what we believe. Our ability to be touched like this is evidence of the working of Great Compassion within us.
Abdo Mhammed 51. We gave Abraham his integrity formerly, and We knew him well.
52. When he said to his father and his people, “What are these statues to which you are devoted?”
53. They said, “We found our parents worshiping them.”
54. He said, “You and your parents are in evident error.”
55. They said, “Are you telling us the truth, or are you just playing?”
56. He said, “Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the One who created them, and I bear witness to that.
57. “By God, I will have a plan for your statues after you have gone away.”
58. So he reduced them into pieces, except for their biggest, that they may return to it.
59. They said, “Who did this to our gods? He is certainly one of the wrongdoers.”
60. They said, “We heard a youth mentioning them. He is called Abraham.”
61. They said, “Bring him before the eyes of the people, so that they may witness.”
62. They said, “Are you the one who did this to our gods, O Abraham?”
63. He said, “But it was this biggest of them that did it. Ask them, if they can speak.”
64. Then they turned to one another, and said, “You yourselves are the wrongdoers.”
65. But they reverted to their old ideas: “You certainly know that these do not speak.”
66. He said, “Do you worship, instead of God, what can neither benefit you in anything, nor harm you?
67. Fie on you, and on what you worship instead of God. Do you not understand?”
68. They said, “Burn him and support your gods, if you are going to act.”

Chrishanthi Gunetileke @ Buffalo Jack. In Buddhism praying is not asking someone (Buddha) to grant something. Most of the stanzas in Buddhism have the meaning of the truth of the dhamma Lord buddha preached, or the truthful life Lord Buddha lived or the truthful lives the Sanga lived. So by saying them with "the meaning" in it, it purifies ones mind too. Because by appreciating the truth as well as the beautiful lives they lived won't get you attached to anything. And you'll come close to the truth itself...
Abdo Mhammed i respect important monuments and i take care of them but I do not like to worship what does not benefit me and not Adharny
Buffalo Jack I understand what prayer is in buddhism. However this page will post stories that ask people to pray for someone. And what you had just described, in no way, says praying will help cure someone of ailments.

Inoka Chandima Perera I am Theravada Buddhist. Understanding Buddhism is not easy. Yet it is not hard as well. All you need to look at the reality of nature. People may post all sorts of stories, messages or ideas. Sometimes they may be misleading. Buddhism talks about gods. Buddha preached "Dhamma Chakka Sutta" (first preaching) to gods. The topic of "Gods" can not be explained in a few sentences. But if one seeks to learn, there are sources to learn. But Buddhism does not mighty single god. Buddhism does not agrees with creation. But, who ever lives good without going against conscience, gets the blessings of gods. Now all the western science has approved that the "creation of the world" is a religious myth. There are so many scientific documentaries one can watch. Now they seek the parth on "Big bang theory". But Buddha preached about how this world caused about 2500 years ago. He preached about the "Big Bang Theory" for the first time and as the science speak of the five elements, the very cause for living and other things in the universe, the teaching of Apo, Thejo, wayo, patavi and akasa is defined perfectly. Buddhism is not a religion. It is all about the rules of nature. The reality. As example, some people are born with extra ordinary talents, some born with deficiencies. It's not a will of any one. A simple question, why a creator needs only a selected part to be happy and other to suffer like hell. (I mean if the creator is fair, justice and loves all in one heart? ) One carries his or her own sin and good merits. No one is responsible for others' actions. One is responsible for his or her own life. Nature balances everything. We, living beings carry our own sac of merits. Every life has a value. We have to respect them. There are people who do things with improved minds. They read others minds, (I have my own experiences with this as I met "Rishis" in India when I was there practising Yoga), move things, bend metals with minds, etc. What explanation is there to give? Meditation is the base of Buddhism. Improved and developed mind is the key for everything. Even gods are second to a man with an improved and developed mind. That is why it says, No god is important, It is "YOU" who is important. I am not being offensive here. But, It is the "Western scientists and science continuously trying to prove things against "The creation and One mighty god" Not any single Asian person. I watched the program where those scientists trying to prove that Jesus did not die on cross. I really respect Jesus as a good guider. Guiding people for good. Yet, I have my understanding and realisation towards the truth. In order to learn about Buddhism, one has to learn the "Thripitaka" or follow a Buddhist monk. More they conquer the universe and develop science, Buddhism is revealed as the truth of the universe. But, as human beings we MUST respect other's beliefs.
Inoka Chandima Perera @ Abdo Mhammed : We Buddhists do not just worship statues. A statue of Buddha is a symbol. It represent him. Like Christians worships statues of Jesus. Like you Islamic people worship Ka aba. Buddha is in our heart. It is very sad to say that not any other religion insult Buddhism, but Islam. I have no idea why they look down at it. They killed so many innocent buddhist people including small children in Bangladesh. In Sri Lanka, they were giving away flyers and pamphlets which contained all false information and disgraceful ideas about Buddha. I feel so sad when I think of how people can be so arrogant and violence for a sake of a religion. A religion teaches its' followers to be kind, patience and love others. But, going against it and trying to convince people that it is the only truth by forcible means.....???
Inoka Chandima Perera Buffalo Jack : I think I can help you a bit. Buddhism talks about "The universal power" It all deals with our minds. Once developed, One's mind can be so powerful than anything in the world. Even modern science has proved that even cancer can be cured through meditation and positive energy of mind. You know Alpha, Beta, Theta, Delta, And Gamma brain waves right? When we do meditation or pray for good health or luck, we Buddhists do a special ritual called "Bhodi Pooja" We do it under a "Bo tree" (Pupil tree) its' all leaves face down to earth and scientists have proven that pupil trees contains same rays similar to human brain waves. So it amplifies the positive rays one release with his or her mind with regard to a pray. They ask to pray for someone in that way. As I mentioned in my early comment, we Buddhists believe in gods. If I tell you that there are Buddhist monks with highly developed minds through meditation, who sees and talks with such gods, will you believe me? There are monks like that in Sri Lanka. So, on top of positive energy of minds, when we pray for something good, these gods grant their blessings too. So, it's an additional benefit. There is a place called "Na Uyana" in Sri Lanka (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Na_Uyana_Aranya ) There are those monks who bears those mazing mind powers thought meditation. I met a lot of Americans and Australians there who'd come for meditation for like 3 months. Most of them were professionals. So, "Praying" in Buddhism is NOT a pray to a mighty god. It's all about universal energy. So they ask a lot of people to pray, so the power will be intense. I hope this would help a bit. :)
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com It is not good for this Buddhism page to compare religions with these kind of posts. Let people understand the reality.. this post can hurt some people who don't know about the path of Buddhism. Buddhism encourage people for their self spiritual development than believing in someone else.

Artificial Intelligence is buddhism religion or philosophy?

Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com You can call Buddhism a religion or philosophy, but it explain about the nature of life and the end of it. Buddhism explain about heavens, and Brahma worlds and Buddha told that there are Maha Brahma who thinks them self as a super being (creator), but Buddha told that it is their misunderstanding. those world are not a permanent place for living beings. Buddha didn't tell us to worship him, he just told us to follow his teachings, we can use his statues or Dathu (remaining borns of his body) to develop our Shraddha (Attachment to Buddhism) to keep follow the Buddhism in all our lives. Triple gems are Buddha, Damma (teachings), Sanga (monks).. Tripitaka is Vinaya (Rules for monk), Abidharma (deep teaching of Buddhism), Suthra (Stories which told by the Buddha).
Kayla Estrella sorry but i dont believe in that.. i believe in a one and only GOD and his name is Jesus Christ and i believe that he came and died for me and my sins. PERIOD!
Sai Naing Soe Win Artificial Intelligence @ Some said Buddhism can be called as philosophy because it does not involve/ argue about the creator. Also Buddha did not tell/ ask his pupils to believe in him nor in his teachings without trying the Dhamma (universal truth ) first . This is clearly described in Kalama Sutta (The Buddha's Charter of Free Inquiry )http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/soma/wheel008.html
Artificial Intelligence mr. suresh if buddhism religion why buddha was an atheist, if buddhism philisophy why u r involving heaven and hell, god concepts. can i call u male or female?
Artificial Intelligence dear sai naing soe win, if buddhism philosophy; why u r worship buddha's statues, doing rituals, beleiving in hell and heaven and karma(karma was invented by hindus before buddha's birth), why u r watching horoscope and some hindus culture etc...
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Hindus didn't invent the Karma, they just discovered it, Buddha also could understand the Karma with his mind. Buddhism agree with Philosophy, but is not enough to describe Buddhism, Buddhism can accept as a religion, but not like believing religion it is developed with cause and effect. Most religions are just believing for a final day, But Buddhism tell us to end rebirth. Hindus and Buddha told about Heavens, Hells and Brahma worlds before everyone. We can't explain heaven with phylosophy.
Artificial Intelligence mr. suresh i am asking, r u male or female?
Artificial Intelligence u will answer male, using your 6 senses. like that; i asked,
1. is buddhism religion or philosophy?
2. is buddhism claiming atheism or mono theism or polytheism?
3. was buddha told, ' i discovered a religion and named buddhism.'

Artificial Intelligence mr.bertrando wickramanayake, i think u r a wise person, if freedom give to everyone what will happen; there r no rules in the world?
Artificial Intelligence mr. bertrando wickramanayake- i think u r a buddhist, but u r following the great buddha untold subjects. purposeless life, beleiving in unknown things. if u r wise buddhist reply
Sai Naing Soe Win dear @ Artificial Intelligence , I have to repeat what Pamonda Wasala said above, Buddhists do not worship the Buddha statues for forgiveness or blessings etc. The statues are just symbols and we show respect to Buddha and his images , like we show respect to our elders, parents, teachers in Buddhist culture. Buddhists do not gain merit by worshiping the Buddha Statue so many times a day and come out doing unwholesome deeds. In summary, Buddha asked his followers to do only 3 things (1) Do every wholesome action which is good for other living beings and oneself. (2) Do not do or speak which will cause other beings to suffer (mentally or physically) . (3) One's mind/thoughts must be pure with Love, Empathy , Sympathy and Rejoice for others and for oneself .... For this we have to practice Sati-Pathana (mindfulness meditation) , constant awareness of one's own mind .
Sai Naing Soe Win @ Artificial Intelligence , you wrote- ((i think u r a buddhist, but u r following the great buddha untold subjects, purposeless life, beleiving in unknown things)) If you have nothing to say good about others' religion, better don't say anything .
Sai Naing Soe Win @ Artificial Intelligence; What makes you think that all Buddhists believe in such rituals ? Because not all Buddhists practice traditional / cultural rituals , which are nothing to do with Buddhism itself ( for example, pouring water at Buddha Statues, ringing gongs and rattles , counting beads , etc. ) There are True Buddhists who do understand and practice the "Essence of Buddhism - The Eight fold Noble Path" and of course there are some other kind of Buddhists. I am sure there are similar problems in every religion as well.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Artificial Intelligence; If u can see my profile picture u can know my sex, I don't create fake profiles, U have given me options to select, but we can't answer some questions with only one word, like if I ask u how u start ur day? u have many answers, u are not only eat or wash yourself in the morning. Here are some answers for ur questions: 1.) Buddhism not a philosophy but there are philosophical arguments in Buddhism. 2.) Buddha didn't tell us to worship him. he just gave us the path to free ourselves. If u take Buddhist teachings, u can't find any teaching that tells his followers to believe anything, he told us to experience it with our practice. Practicing Buddhism is not like worshiping, it is just developing our mind, if u call taming our mind and doing good things is a religion then you can call practicing his teaching is Buddhism (Buddhist Religion). Buddha didn't create Buddhism (Nature of the universe and living beings), He just reestablished it for us to end suffering. We call his teachings 'Buddha Dharma' (Dharma: means the nature of living beings, universe, cause and effect etc.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dharma) It is greater to call Buddha's teachings a Dharma than calling it a religion. It is not a monotheism, atheism and there are leading Gods in heaven but they are not permanent. Can't u understand that Heavens, Brahma worlds, Hells, Animal world are places where anyone can go. Asking that Buddhism a Atheism or Polytheism is a stupid question, that means u don't know about the Buddhist Concepts about Heavens. It is like asking a doctor that whether he is a lawyer or driver. It is an irrelevant question. Buddha didn't discover Buddhism accidentally, He came from Thusitha Divya (Thusitha Heaven) to be next Buddha. There are more Gods waiting to be Buddha's in future. He knew that he will understand it, He developed 10 qualities since many life times to be a Buddha. He could achieve 5 understandings (about others mind, past, future, karma etc.) after he attained Buddha hood, after that he could understand everything. He told us to use his Dharma as a boat to cross river (enlightenment), but we don't take boat with us after we cross the river.

Artificial Intelligence mr.sai naing soe win, was buddha gave authorizatin to make statues, temples? these were copied from hindu culture. can you proof from tripitaka" if u want respect me, make statues for me?" i need the great buddha real teachings, not buddha's disciples.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com don't worry about statues, Buddha told if u can see his Dharma you can see him (what Buddha like). there is nothing to copy here. If u keep ur father's photo with u to respect him we don't tell u that u r copying Hindu tradition, U like to keep ur father's photo because u just respect him,Buddha didn't prohibit anything at all, he didn't tell us not to create his statues, he just gave a path, we use his Dhatu (borns, hair etc.), or things he used or his statues to remind him and respect him.
Sai Naing Soe Win Artificial Intelligence @ you asked me (mr.sai naing soe win, was buddha gave authorizatin to make statues, temples? ) Buddha did not give authorization to make statues, temples as such nor He forbid His followers not to do . So there's no orders from Him. If you need the great Buddha's REAL teachings and not his disciples, please read , Walpola Rahula's "What The Buddha Taught ", which is brief and easy to understand. http://www.amazon.co.uk/What-Buddha-Taught-Walpola-Rahula/dp/1851681426/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1354109077&sr=1-1
Artificial Intelligence mr. suresh, according to your explanation; the great buddha was a prophet because all prophets gave a path to their community, but the people insert their own ideas to develop the religion. but buddha said not only i am buddha but so many buddhas arrived
Sai Naing Soe Win Artificial Intelligence @ ( according to your explanation; the great buddha was a prophet ) WRONG !!!!! There is no creator nor god sent prophet in Buddhism . If any, the creator is the nature which creates this universe and everything in it .
Sai Naing Soe Win Gotama Buddha, openly declared that "Dhamma " (The Law of Universal Truth ) has been there for millions upon millions of year, long before any being had come into existence, including Buddha Himself . He admitted that there were thousands of (Buddhas / Arahats) who had found this Dhamma before Him... He said " I have Re-discovered the Law of Universal Truth " . This Law that he found was so scientific that many top scientists agreed with his views, even in this day and age. Therefore, some argued that Buddhism cannot be a Religion. On this issue we have nothing to argue about, as in ( whether it was the Penicillin or the Ampicilin that cured our disease, so long as it DOES cure the horrible disease, it's alright.) The Name is just a Name.... nevertheless, I'd like to agree on the view that Buddhism is best described as "The Way of Life" .
Artificial Intelligence Historical criticism has proved that the original teachings of Buddha can never be known. It seems that Gautama Buddha’s teachings were memorized by his disciples. After Buddha’s death a council was held at Rajagaha so that the words of Buddha could be recited and agreed upon. There were differences of opinion and conflicting memories in the council. Opinion of Kayshapa and Ananda who were prominent disciples of Buddha were given preference. A hundred years later, a second council at Vesali was held. Only after 400 years, after the death of Buddha were his teachings and doctrines written down. Little attention was paid regarding its authenticity, genuineness and purity.
Artificial Intelligence PHILOSOPHY OF BUDDHISM IS SELF – CONTRADICTORY:
As mentioned earlier, the main teachings of Buddhism are summarised in the Four Noble Truths:
(i) There is suffering and misery in life.
(ii) The cause of suffering and misery is desire.
(iii) Suffering and misery can be removed by removing desire.
(iv) Desire can be removed by following the Eight Fold Path.
This Philosophy of Buddhism is self-contradictory or self-defeating because the third truth says ‘suffering and misery can be removed by removing desire’ and the fourth truth says that 'desire can be removed by following the Eight Fold Path'.
Now, for any person to follow Buddhism he should first have the desire to follow the Four Noble Truths and the Eight Fold Path. The Third great Noble Truth says that desire should be removed. Once you remove desire, how can we follow the Fourth Noble truth i.e. follow the Eight Fold Path unless we have a desire to follow the Eight Fold Path. In short desire can only be removed by having a desire to follow the Eight Fold Path. If you do not follow the Eight Fold Path, desire cannot be removed. It is self contradicting as well as self-defeating to say that desire will only be removed by continuously having a desire.

Artificial Intelligence who was created the nature? why nature created muslims, christians, hindus, negro, arabs, white people(Europeans, Americans)? why nature created the god, prophet, holy books concepts in their religion? who is controlling the nature? who is controlling the karma? why nature sent jesus, moses, muhammad, adam? why all humans are like same? why Buddha, was not told to write tripitaka and triple gem? why Buddhist believe horoscope? where nature came from? why can't communicate with nature? what is the purpose of nature to create this universe? why nature created male and female? why nature created disease? etc...
Artificial Intelligence Mr.suresh, can u explain the differences between the philosophy and religion? 1.) Buddhism not a philosophy but there are philosophical arguments in Buddhism. - like - u r a male but there signs of female in you. 2.) Buddha didn't tell us to worship him. - so, what is the meaning of triple gem.
Sally Mya-Win Dear Mr Artificial Intelligence, ( you have the most appropriate name too ) . I do not know why you persistantly trying to talk down on Buddhism ? Do you have any problem with that particular religion? Because , any Religion , including yours , could have one thing or the other to disagree with people like yourself. I do not know what religion you belong to (if you dare reveal it ) , but whatever religion you believe in, please spare the others' faith . Thank You.
Ritam Sen Mr.Artificial intelligence(u robot or something)....u have a misconception buddhism is atheism....no it's not fully atheism...it's Agnosticism...it means a state between atheism and theism...buddha never said there's no god and neither he said to worship some invisible imaginary character.....i'm an atheist myself but still respect him cos his sayings r so wonderful that makes sense to anyone....his focus is only one....strengthen your soul and your spirit....u need no one else to guide u...

Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Artificial Intelligence : Even Bodhisathwa need to have a desire to be a Buddha, otherwise he will miss the path or he will be Arhat (enlightened) before ataininng Buddhahood, ur arguments are good for the people who don't know about Buddhism, u r try attacking with just words but there is no real meaning of ur arguments, lawyers do same kinds of arguments which u does. We didn't want a desire to eat, he is just to keep his health as we don't want a desire to follow eight fold path, following eight-fold path is a necessary. there is no CONTRADICTORY at four noble truth.
Artificial Intelligence mr. ritam, what is samyuktha nikaya? in 2012 december this world will be terminated. is this true? in practical who is following buddha's teaching @ least 80%. from the death of buddha till now, no any buddha come yet now. why nature can't sent him?
Artificial Intelligence mr. suresh r u following the eight fold path? so many buddhist r telling this but not following. who named "buddhism" to buddha's teaching? if there r no meaning, so u give a real meaning to the contradictory religion or philosophy
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Artificial intelligence; There is a saying that we can argue with 100 intelligent people and we might able to win but we can't win arguing with only 1 idiot. I'm not saying it to u. however Males and Females have many similar body parts like eyes, ears, hand etc; but u r saying that there can't be Philosophy in Buddhism. I think u have an artificial intelligence and u just don't have common sense. Nature created the Karma, I know that u r not a Buddhist and I can understand ur religion too. Which prophet told u about Karma? Who told u about rebirth? Who told that there r many world in universe this earth? Why some people are black which make them uncomfortable? What if u r a ugly person? Did some one created u ugly to recognize u? Why some people are suffering from birth to death? Why some don't have perfect body from his/her birth (blind etc)? Don't u think that animals are suffering? Did someone create animals for u to eat? If so y the creator is so cruel? Why he couldn't understand that animal feel pain? Creator is a concept and a myth which human created to salve another myth. If u come to India u can find thousand of Gods. Most religions (God believing) created in the countries where there was not spiritually developed people. Many religions don't have answers to Ghosts, Evidence of Rebirth (BBC Documentary, Past life evidence:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OarxB-dsK8U

Do u think that just worshiping a God and following his command will give u ultimate wisdom and who don't do it he will send them permanently to the hell? Why did he created people to send them in to heaven? There is no creator if there is a creator then who create the creator? Was he boring living alone? We all started at the same time which this universe started. Why can't think u that we all started at the same time when this universe started and there is no any special God to push a button to start this universe?

Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Buddha that starts are not responsible to the things which we done in the past and Buddha told that we can change the Karma if we change our lives. Horoscope is a method to predict the future, as Sun effect our lives, starts might effect to change our emotions, behavior and etc. Buddhist don't care about Horoscope, some Buddhist use it to prevent from the problems of life, and it is like we are going to a doctor go get solutions for our illnesses.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com People are not same, every people don't want to get enlightened, some people like to eat meat, some people r just like to enjoy there life, The 'LIKE' (desire) makes our rebirth. If u liked Islam very much in ur pass life then even now u are a born Buddhist u will change ur religion and go back to Islam. That is y these Gods tell u to believe them, when people worship them he will help u and he can grow his heavenly powers which they want to grow their heavenly life, U can understand this if u learn Hindu too. Buddha didn't tell us to worship him because he had ended his rebirth. Karma change people's wealth, colour, attitude, world, life time etc. But Buddha told Karma is not only reason which change our lives, there are more..
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Karma is cause and effect, which creates one after one, last we don't think that our thoughts are actions, but when we think there are so many chemical reactions in our brain, which really have lot of meanings which normal person can't even imagine. If we push a Rock the Rock push back, as Newton (great scientist) told. Karma means action, our actions are stored in our mind and our mind has a power to change the nature. Nature is cause and effect, u just want common sense to understand this, many people are afraid to God they afraid to change and they want to get the best place in heaven, Many religions have rules which control people, y he send people to hell? isn't it a his fault. I really don't like him, Heavens and Hells are part of nature, our mind (actions/Karma/Desire) take us to the place where most suitable for us. If someone is behaving like a animal his mind can't exist in heaven. Finally believe in ur self not a super natural person. As I know many believers believe what they don't see but they don't believe that in front of them (rebirth, power of mind, ghosts, reading mind etc).
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Nature not only create male and female, it creates people who are between male and female, we call them like Gays. Y a God create them, Y the god is unfair with them? no reason is not the God, nature is like that it has many reasons not only one, Nature and Karma is doing that.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Artificial Intelligence; u have to learn about the nature, or Biology, Agriculture, Evolution, Chemistry, Physics and etc to understand the Nature of universe, Don't give a God to do everything. The food u eat is generates power to ur body which is doing by ur body itself. Try to understand the cause and effect. There are many supernatural thing in this universe which has described in Buddhism, but don't think that everything is supernatural.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com I was not a Buddhist, u can find my previous religion if u search my family photos. I could easily reject the creator of world and us, by studying the scriptures, which says God created Earth, Moon, Trees, animals and finally a Man and a Women. But evidence and evolution says that we are a developed specie of Sapiens. And Sapiens was developed from their previous generation. Which proves that the origin of all the animals, trees and humans were small which was created with protein and etc. We already found many species like humans (similar) who lived thousand years ago and they couldn't survive because of environmental reasons. God believers killed many people in the past who tried to reveal this phenomena.
Ritam Sen Mr.Artificial intelligence...buddhism is for those who have soul and spirits...since you r an 'artificial' robot, pls don't even try to understand it :)
Sally Mya-Win ( from the death of buddha till now, not any buddha come yet now. why nature can't sent him?) ..... This is the most pathetic question that I have ever come across.
Sally Mya-Win Artificial Intelligence; you said (Once you remove desire, how can we follow the Fourth Noble truth ) ... Desire for what ? Desire for " self-indulgence and self-mortification" , those are the TWO extremities Buddha warned us to avoid from. Therefore, Buddha's Path is also known as "Middle Path" , the Path that makes SENSE , 'Lots of Common Sense' . Blind Faith which demands "just to obey whatever the Lord asks you to believe in".... is something that Buddhists are not encouraged to do . We do not literally interpret His words with meaningless blind faith , because it can be dangerous. He allowed us to interpret his teachings in sensible, logical, practical way free from extremities . ( In Pali it is called ေယာနိေသာမဏသီကာယ).
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Sally Mya-Win; Only one Buddha comes at a time, another Buddha will come after this Buddha Dharma disappears from the earth. We don't want another Buddha right now, we already have enough teachings to be enlightened if we follow the teachings. There are people who are already doing it, but they are doing it secretly.
Artificial Intelligence mr.suresh, accurately how u can recognize male and female? watching their eyes, ears, hands. i think, karma is totally wrong concept because animals have only 5 senses because frontal lobe and temporal lobe in their brain not developed like human so, they can't distinguish goodness and badness that's why we tell sometime to other people if their behavior not good " why r u behaving like animal?" so how they can do goodness to rebirth as human?
Sally Mya-Win Suresh, I know what you are saying , please read my post again. I was only quoting Artificial's previous question , in bracket . I found this question very unintelligent >> (( from the death of buddha till now, not any buddha come yet now. why nature can't sent him?)) <<
Artificial Intelligence mr. suresh you r the person, sending buddhas to this world. is this true? (Historical criticism has proved that the original teachings of Buddha can never be known. Little attention was paid regarding its authenticity, genuineness and purity.) i have an article please read this - THE ERROR OF BUDDHISM
Kathmandu ...
The Ka-Nying Shedrup Ling monastery ...
A stifling and gloomy place ...
Those who will be participating in this ceremony are young priests ...
They are still only children ...
And they will spend their lives in the monastery.
Their days will be spent in hunger and poverty ...
They will not work. And they will beg for food ...
They will have no family lives ...
And they will have nothing to wear but these clothes.
And what is more, they will do all this in the name of a superstitious belief, in order not to be reborn as a fly or a mouse ...
Because they believe in a religion that is full of superstition and error: Buddhism.
Buddhism is such an enormous error that it regards people torturing themselves as a virtue.
People cut themselves off from life in the name of myth and superstition.
For Buddhists, who spend their days in pointless, irrational rituals, life is always dark and stagnant.
Furthermore, amongst all these rituals Buddhism causes people to forget God, or even to deny Him.
Islam, on the other hand, totally opposes this distorted mentality. It offers people a rational, restorative and dynamic life. Quite unlike Buddhists, those who live by the moral values of Islam are always productive, happy and at peace.
And, most important of all, those who live by the moral values of Islam draw close to God, the Lord of all creation, and gain the greatest happiness possible for human beings, the good pleasure of God.
This film portrays the religion of Buddhism and its irrational practices. Those who regard Buddhism as a road to peace and contentment as a result of deceptive propaganda should pay close attention to the truths described in this film.

Artificial Intelligence THE BIRTH OF BUDDHISM
In the 6th century BC India was under the occupation of the Aryans ...
The dominant religion in the country was that of the Aryans: Brahmanism.
The Aryans implemented a strict caste system in the country.
Under that caste system society was divided into different groups.
Brahmin priests were at the top of this system.
And ruthlessly oppressed the people.
During those years a son was born to Prince Suddhodana, a member of the noble Sakya family: Siddhartha Gautama ...
Siddhartha spent his youth in ease and plenty.
When he reached the age of 29, however, he left the palace he was living in.
And turned to a mystical quest.
As a result of which he set out certain principles.
These principles gradually turned into a teaching: Buddhism ...
Buddhism arose in Northeast India.
In time it extended throughout Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Kampuchea, China, Tibet, Mongolia, Manchuria, Korea and Nepal.
Today, it has about 330 million followers.
The word Buddha means “the awakened, or enlightened one,” signifying the spiritual heights that Siddartha Gautama is supposed to have attained.
And Siddhartha is remembered by that name.
Buddha chose to speak about his basic tenets and hand on his form of worship orally.
The teachings of Buddha were handed on from generation to generation, in oral form only, for 400 years. This teaching was then collected in a book called Pali-Canon.
The text regarded as sacred by Buddhism today is the Tipitaka, which contains many crass errors. This text was written in the Pali language.
Buddhist priests perform their ceremonies and organise their lives according to this text.
The only subject matter in these books is people suppressing all their desires and trying to train their souls by living lives full of poverty and suffering.
Buddhists have so concentrated on those matters that they are totally unaware of a far more important truth.
That truth is the existence of God.

Artificial Intelligence AN ATHEIST RELIGION
Many people who lack a comprehensive knowledge of Buddhism imagine that the aim in Buddhism is the worship of a Creator, as in the revealed religions.
The truth, however, is very different. Buddhism is a teaching which totally ignores the existence of God. For that reason Buddhism is regarded as an atheist religion.
One of the main reasons for this is the narrow-mindedness of Buddhism.
Buddhists build their lives on suppressing human wishes and desires and on performing various rituals.
They never consider the question of how the universe, living things and human beings came into existence.
No Buddhist writings have ever even touched on these matters …
Buddhists are therefore unaware of the existence and infinite might of the Almighty God, Creator of the universe and all living things.
As well as being atheist, Buddhism is also a pagan religion. In other words it worships idols. The idol in question being Buddha himself.
The process of turning Buddha into an idol began immediately after his death. Buddhist priests set about making him divine.
They adorned the places they lived in with giant statues of the Buddha. And then superstitiously worshipped these idols they had made with their own hands.
They even built temples in which the Buddha’s eyes were depicted.
They thus believed that the Buddha could see everywhere and constantly watch people.
Buddhism, an atheist religion, is unaware of the truths of the teachings of revealed religions such as Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
The most important characteristic of revealed religions is that they regard God as the one and only.
In the Qur’an God reveals that: “Your God is one God, so submit to Him.” (Qur’an 22:34)
Buddhists, however, deny God and irrationally make an idol out of Buddha, a helpless and mortal human being, just like themselves. In other words, they ascribe partners to God …
In hundreds of places in the Qur’an God reminds us that this “association” is a very serious sin. God has revealed that He will never forgive those who ascribe partners to Him in one verse:
God does not forgive anything being associated with Him, but He forgives whoever He wills for anything other than that. Anyone who associates something with God has committed a terrible crime. (Qur'an, 4: 48)

Artificial Intelligence AN OPPRESSIVE AND ENSLAVING RELIGION
Many people believe that Buddhism is a comforting, peace-giving religion. They even imagine that it represents a solution to many problems.
This, however, is a great error, because that which Buddhism regards as a virtue consists of suffering.
For that reason this religion pushes people towards a life full of suffering and poverty. Eating the best foods, and being clean and comfortable, are forbidden in Buddhism.
For Buddhist monks and nuns, life is full of all kinds of difficulties. They are forbidden to work. They feed themselves by going from door to door and begging among the people.
For this reason, Buddhist priests are even called bhikkhus, which means beggars, by the people. This is a most humiliating position.
Buddhist priests are forbidden to marry or have any kind of family life.
They may own only one robe.
They eat only one meal a day. And they must finish this before noon. This meal generally consists of bread and rice flavoured with spices. It is forbidden to eat such things as meat or fruit.
In short, Buddhist strictures are a form of self-torture.
Islam, on the other hand, wishes people to take advantage of the good things of the world and forbids them to inflict suffering on themselves.
Islam offers a peaceful life aimed at winning the good pleasure of God.
People who live by the moral values of the Qur’an are clean, take pleasure from life and are always animated, joyful and happy.
This what God reveals concerning those who, like Buddhists, inflict suffering on themselves:
God does not wrong people in any way; rather it is people who wrong themselves. (Qur’an, 10: 44)

Artificial Intelligence THE SUPERSTITIOUS RITUALS OF BUDDHISM
Tibet … a land where Buddhism rules …
There are many temples here.
They are all decorated with gold and precious stones and possess an extravagant appearance.
This is supposedly a sign of the respect felt for Buddha.
This display and wealth, however, is in sharp contrast to the poverty of the people.
Laos, Nepal, India …
Buddhism is also widespread in these countries.
And the same stark contrast can also be seen in them.
Magnificent, wealthy temples …
And poverty-ridden peoples …
In short, Buddhism brings with it injustice rather than social justice, poverty rather than well-being.
One of the most striking aspects of Buddhism is its strange, superstition-filled rituals…
The famous Samye monastery in Tibet …
A ceremony is taking place here.
Buddhist priests are playing the radong, a trumpet 4.5 meters in length. This instrument occupies an important place in Buddhist ritual.
The Jokhang temple …
People are performing a Buddhist ritual;
Bowing down before a statue of the Buddha they fulfil the obligations of their twisted, pagan religion.
Buddhists in this temple in Kathmandu blindly continue the traditions handed down from their forefathers, never questioning them in any way.
They spend their days praying around the walls of the temple and turning prayer wheels.
There are hundreds of flags outside Buddhist temples.
These are prayer flags.
According to Buddhists’ superstitious beliefs, the prayers written on these flags are cast around by the wind.
Buddhists thus imagine that they have done something meritorious.
This, like other Buddhist beliefs, is a superstitious myth.
Because Buddhists, who deny the existence of God, cannot even say who they are praying to …
Relics of the Buddha and leading Buddhist priests are also kept in these temples.
Buddhists entering their temples worship the statues of the Buddha.
They offer them flowers and incense.
Buddhists regard all these rituals as a way to salvation. But they are gravely mistaken …
Because the statues of the Buddha, to which they burn incense and make wishes, can neither see nor hear them …
The warnings that the prophets issued to pagans in the past also apply, therefore, to present-day Buddhists:
When he [Ibrahim] said to his father and his people, “What are these statues you are clinging to?” they said, “We found our fathers worshipping them.” He said, “You and your fathers are clearly misguided.” (Qur’an, 21:52-54)
If Buddhists, who blindly carry on the traditions of their forefathers, were to think, they would see what a terrible mistake they are making.
The Buddha they worship is helpless and mortal, just like all human beings.
In the same way that He created everything and everyone in the universe, God also created Buddha.
The only entity worthy of being served is the Almighty God.
Concerning those people who fail to realise this truth and worship objects, God asks:
Do they make things into partner-gods which cannot create anything and are themselves created; which are not capable of helping them and cannot even help themselves? (Qur’an, 7:191-192)

Artificial Intelligence THE ERRORS OF REINCARNATION AND KARMA
Buddhist teaching, which rejects the life of the hereafter, is in grave error regarding life after death.
Unfillable gaps thus arise in Buddhists’ internal lives, and deep wounds in their minds.
Buddhist belief on this subject rests on the twin superstitions of reincarnation and karma.
According to the belief in reincarnation, they are reborn in different bodies after death. In other words, a person returns to earth after he has died.
According to the belief in karma, a person will inevitably be rewarded in his next life for all the things he does in the course of this one.
To such an extent, in fact, that a bad person can even come back as a plant or an animal.
If so, who judges a person's former life and sends him back into the world in a new body?
How, according to this belief which denies the existence of God, does the process of karma work?
Buddhists are unable to offer any rational reply to these questions. Because there is nothing rational about their religion.
Even if the philosophy of karma may appear at first sight to gain people some positive moral virtues, it in fact leads them to gravely mistaken ideas.
According to this belief, people’s helplessness, sicknesses and weaknesses stem from moral impurities, and are supposedly a punishment for their deeds in a previous life.
For example, the reason why someone is poor or handicapped is his behaviour in a previous life.
All the bad things that person did in his previous life come back as poverty in this one. In other words, it is well-deserved!
In Islam, however, people’s weaknesses or problems are no crime.
They are merely a test.
And others are charged with helping such needy people.
For this reason, Islam has a very strong sense of social justice.
This attitude can also be found in Christianity and Judaism, which come from the same divine source.
The belief in karma, on the other hand, which can be found in other Far eastern religions as well as Buddhism, demolishes the idea of social justice and leads to oppressed people being oppressed still further.
The unjust caste system in India, which has been practiced for hundreds of years and divides society into groups, found its philosophical basis in the myth of karma.
According to Islam, reincarnation is also a great myth.
According to the Qur’an, there is a life in this world, and an eternal life in the hereafter. It is impossible to come to earth more than once.
In one verse we are told the following about death and resurrection:
How can you reject God, when you were dead and then He gave you life, then He will make you die and then give you life again, then you will be returned to Him? (Qur’an, 2: 28)
Every human being is dead to begin with. In other words, the basis of human creation is inanimate substances such as earth and water. God later gives life to this inanimate mass.
At a specific time after the individual has been brought to life, life comes to an end, and he dies. That is the end of his life.
He returns to the earth and decays back into the soil. That is the second time a human being enters the state of death.
Finally, he will be resurrected in the hereafter, and give account for everything he did in this world.
In the Qur'an, God says that after a human being has come into this world, he will experience only one death:
They will not taste any death there—except for the first one. He will safeguard them from the punishment of the Blazing Fire. A favor from your Lord. That is the Great Victory. (Qur’an, 44: 56-57)

Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Is is not a necessary all beings to have 6 senses, their are even humans who don't have 6 senses, some people can't hear, some people can't see. But there is somethings calls 6 senses in the world. hearing, smelling, tasting, seeing, feeling to the body, feeling to the mind. ur arguments r not matured, Buddha told that there are basically 6 senses but he didn't tell that every animal and every human have it, it depends on the body they get from his birth.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Buddha didn't tell that we do everything according to the Karma, Buddha told that their are many reasons, like (seeds)Genetic lows, environmental lows, and animals don't make much sins because there genetic functions has influenced their mind and body. Like it is difficult for humans to stop doing sex because our Genetic structure and Hormones control our body. Animals collect sins when they kill other animal but the power of those sins are less than we collect when we kill, because we usually don't have much genetic influence to kill animals we use our greed to do it which collect lot of sins. Ur argument is totally wrong and irrelevant about Karma, it is not required all the living beings to have 6 senses to prove the Karma, Result of a bad Karma can take many years (hundred or thousand) to take effect. Karma is not simple as u think.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Usually animals have very low chance to get a human rebirth, That is y Buddha told us hurry up and don't be late to be enlightenment. Animals can have a rebirth in Human world and Heaven if they use their mind to do good things, animal are not like we think about them, they can think about good and bad but it is difficult for them to control their action due to their genetic influences. But there are Stories in Buddhism about animal who could get human rebirth and their are story about a human who became a dog after he died. I like u to learn more about the nature.

Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com I'm not sending Buddhas to this world, u always ask stupid questions. This Sanga (Generation of monks) is coming from the time when the Buddha was living, and our monks could protect Buddhist teachings with their chanting, Buddhist chanting are the teaching of the Buddha, they are practicing it to keep the Dharma in their mind, Buddhism was protected than any other religion could, if u see the teaching u can find more than 84000 teachings which are perfectly written down to books, there are some different Buddhist traditions but the basic teachings are same, the purpose of Mahasana (Chinese, Tibetan) Buddhist is to become a Buddha, Purpose of Theravada (in Sri Lanka before Mahayana) Buddhist is to be enlightened (Arahath) as soon as possible, but if someone wish to be a Buddha they can work on it. Buddhist teachings we have with us is more than enough achieve enlightenment if someone try his best to do it like this: Discovery documentry:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGe7AlUjXLU
http://www.etapasvi.com/ Documentary (2007) on Ram Bahadur Bomjan ("Buddha Boy"), who has been meditating for 3 years without food or water.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com There was some arguments, on some Vinaya rules (rules for monks) but there was not any problem about his core teachings on Nirvana and etc.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Rahula, the son of Siddharth (Buddha) was only 7 years old when Buddha took him to his Sanga, This wisdom has no age, who knows when we die, It was example for us to understand the necessary of practice, to encourage us to work on it as soon as possible. There are no strict rules for monks most small children like to be a monk, and if they don't like it they can go back at anytime, monk are practicing to get rid of self tendencies, not to enjoy, so less food is part of their practice. they get a good knowledge and education too, some monks go to even universities.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com If u give me a good reason that u have no chance to reborn as a fly or mouse, I don't think u can surely tell that with proofs, Many other religious people are not spiritually develop therefor they don't realize that our Karma and etc can take us to any place where we can't even imagine, Most religions people are just believing but we are practicing to understand within this life, if someone do it his practice well enough then they can even talk to living being in heaven, If u believe about what u see, just watch the YouTube video I send u, he talk with Gods, only spiritually develop people can talk with heavenly beings. We have to develop our mind to go to heaven too. There are many people like that you can find them if u try to do so.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Just because you mentioned about Islam, I like to say that, Islam is not fair to everyone, God made animals to suffer and for us to eat them, he has no sympathy on animals, He create humans with disabilities and he tells that he is doing it to identify people, (blind man) live with it even it is difficult. Some people dies without food some enjoy with many wives, he is doing everything, but not fair. And according to Islam it is not enough to just live a good life, but he requires us to beg everyday and worship him everyday to get into the heaven, those who will not do it will not get good benefits from him. many people are afraid to him, he created our body with useless parts which we cut down when we are too young (Sunnath). Most women can't study, sing, dance and weer a normal beautiful dresses, but women nature is they usually satisfy with what they have got. And many Muslims can't even change their religion publicly (there are converted Muslims) because come countries has restricted it and if he do so it can cause him to get killed. Islam is good to live and enjoy, specially for men, but the foundation of it is not reliable. We can't experience many things in Buddhism, therefor I feel comfortable with it other than believing on creator who is unfair to many humans and animals and who has unfair rules, and which teaches us how to cut an animal without hurting it.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-comBuddhist practice do not harm anyone and if you watch that video u can see that he could control his body temperature and he could cure the snake bite with his power of mind. We have to go a silent place to do it if someone really want to develop his/her mind, We can spend time with our family while we practice it and it is much more greater than just having sex until we have the strength to do it, those are temporary pleasures which even some people don't lucky enough to experience it. If u look at this world and if u think that all the humans are my brothers and sisters can't enjoy your live at least a minute, because every second people die and many people are getting in to troubles. I would be very happy if Islam or Christianity is the true religion of this universe, but with what I know about our lives with the evidence I have about life, mind, meditation and existence it is not simple as those religions explain about it. Those religions are filled with believes rather than facts and experience, which doesn't have enough explanations about the nature of mind and existent of our lives. Our mind and life is not just 50 or 100 years old, the age of it is uncountable which started with this universe which has mentioned only in Buddhist teachings, I really don't want someone to start this universe, because I don't want a question to answer another question. I'm just comfortable with the word of this spiritually developed person who told us that it is uncountable, at least he new it, but those believers don't like to accept that we had a previous life and even we show them proofs of children and through hypnosis. Reincarnation is described in Hinduism and Buddhism, Hindu says that there is no end of this Athma (soul), but Buddha could find the reason, cure and the end of this cycle of life. There were many religions in the past and there will be more in the future, but we have to make the right choice to end this dangerous circle of life, because heaven is not the permanent end of our lives, and it is just another existence which we can't control.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com You say: "Eating the best foods, and being clean and comfortable, are forbidden in Buddhism." this is a big lie, Buddha didn't forbid anything at all, Monks can eat fish or meat if they receive it from a follower as a donation, and monks can eat anything at all which doesn't make their mind uncomfortable, just like alcohol which badly effect to their practice. He just gave monks some rules to protect their mind. One monk came to him and told him that it is difficult for him to protect around 200 rules as a monk, then Buddha asked that if u can't protect that much rules can you protect only one rule? then monk said 'yes', then Buddha told him to protect his heart, because all those rules were given to protect their heart. Breaking on or two rules for special reasons was allowed, such as another monk wanted to have a full bath everyday because of the temperature of the area, Buddha allowed it. and there are more stories like that. Buddha told monks to not perform miracles because it can be disturb and to their spiritual development and there mind can go out of control on the benefits they receive from it.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Another lie: "forbidden to eat such things as meat or fruit." I don't know from where u picked these lines but it is just to misguide people who don't know about Buddhism, We offer fish, meat and fruits to the monks and it is allowed to eat, Eating meat is not the problem, killing it is the problem. Buddha didn't prohibit to kill but he told us that we don't have a right to kill them, and they have a right to live, and they feel pain like we feel it, and Buddha told us to think what we like and what we dislike when we deal with animals. If someone kill a living being (who can think and who has a mind) that bad action (Karma) can bring bad reactions to him/her in the future.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com You were arguing that philosophy can't be in a religion (I call Buddhism a Dharma not simply a religion); I can explain it with a saying of a Islamic preacher If u know about Dr. Zakir Naik who is running PeoceTV he are saying on PeaceTV that Kuran is not a book of science it is a book of sings and he further says, but there are scientific thing on that book. and I tell you that Kuran is not only a book of signs there are more things on it. If u understand that you can understand that Buddhism is not a philosophy, but there are Philosophical and much more things in Buddhism.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com I will not answers to some of ur arguments on rituals and tradings. Normal person can understand about those things if the know at least little bit about Buddhism and if they can understand about cultural values. Buddha have tough how manage the profit we earn, I'll tell it briefly; He told us to divide it into four parts and your 2 part from it again to ur business and save 1 part from it for special needs of the future, and he told use to use the last part of it for our daily life, and there is more detail about it. You can find happiest people from those countries as well because they usually satisfy with what they already have, and they happy with their state of mind. Japan is a highly developed country and they are Buddhists, wealth is not a problem to spiritual development, they way we use it is what matters most.
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Pagan is something which tell us to believe on something which no one ever done or experienced, Buddha tells us to experience it within this life. Person from any religion (like Brahmans did) can practice Buddhist teachings and he might be able to develop power of his mind, but he will not be enlightened until he remove all the desire (greed), but once they develop some powers they will understand about the path to be enlightened. The solution is not just the heaven, Buddha said that don't just think to go to heaven because Nirvana is the best solution.

Sally Mya-Win >> Art. Ignorance @ Buddha and his Sanga (Buddhist monks) eat only one meal a day. That only meal must be the donations of lay men during early morning Alms-round through villages. So , whatever people donated in their bowls Buddha and his Sanga had to eat to live. Cannot chose nor deny so long as it is eatable.
Tanmoy Chowdhury artificial intelligence question on meat reminded me Devadatta . Devadatta wanted all Buddhist monks should eat vegetables at Buddha period . But Buddha never permitted this .He told to Devadatta that what the persons would offer/ donate to eat ,monks could eat . here the monks should not judge between vegetable items and non-vegetable items . Buddha never supported extremism rather Buddha told to follow "Middle Way" .
Sai Naing Soe Win Dear all, I know we are writing/ responding here for the sake of the other readers but not for Artificial Intelligence..... Because from what I have read so far, no matter what you say or believe, just ask yourself, are you a "happy person " ? If so, arguing with someone who's sole intention is to smear others' faith, will not bring you any Peace nor Happiness..... Even when Buddha Himself was alive, 2560 years ago there were many people as such.... Buddha simply ignored them as ( People without listening ears) . Some attacked Him with foul language . Buddha said "If someone brings me a gift that I never accept, who is the owner of that gift ? " Not Buddha himself .The person can keep his own (foul) gift . Let them waste their time arguing till the end of the time , and never try to taste / practice the "Dhamma" to understand . We have nothing to lose. Because we are as HAPPY as always. ( Sai Naing Soe Win)
Ritam Sen Mr.Robo:from your comments i think my assumption was perfect from the first,u r a muslim...that's why u have hate for the others...the violent words corrupted your thoughts, this HATE is endless :(
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com Artificial Intelligence; you don't have enough knowledge about Buddhism, there for it is useless talking with you. only one Buddha comes at a time, I already have answered that question, just please read my answers carefully, I'm not here to teach u about Buddhism, if u want to learn about Gods, heavens and etc please find a good teacher.
Artificial Intelligence pls refer sacred book of east vol35, p.226 for another buddhas come & answer, in buddhism; god exist or not, or this is conflicting memorize of disciples because they didn't understand buddhas real teaching, that's why argue with each other.

Tanmoy Chowdhury there were THESE Buddhas who came to earth previously. they did not come at a time . they came one at a time .thir names are as follows :TONOHONKORNG BUDDHA, MEDHONKORONG BUDDHA,SORONONKORONG BUDDHA, DIPONKORONG BUDDHA, KONDYOYOO BUDDHA,MONGOLO BUDDHA ,SUMONO BUDDHA, REBOTO BUDDHA, SOVITO BUDDHA, ONOMODOSSI BUDDHA, PODUMO BUDDHA,NARODA BUDDHA , PODUMUTTRO BUDDHA , SUMEDHO BUDDHA , SUJATO BUDDHA,PIYODOSSI BUDDHA , OTTHODOSSI BUDDHA , DHAMMADASSI BUDDHA, TSSO BUDDHA , FUSSO BUDDHA , BIPORSHI BUDDHA,SITHI MOHAMUNI BUDDHA , BESSUVO NAYAKA BUDDHO, KOKUSONDHU BUDDHA , KONAGOMONO BUDDHA KASYAPA SUGATA BUDDHA , GOUTAMA BUDDHA .These names are collected from OTTO BISOTI BUDDHA sutra). THE next buddha name is ARYAMITRA BUDDHA . HE WILL COME AFTER 2400 YEARS WHEN THE Buddha sasana of present Buddha will end . This was predicted by Siddhartha Goutoma Buddha about 2500 years ago . N.B.: though i know that there will be men who will try to find out loopholes of Buddhism . I think they can go to Buddhist Monks/Sangaha ( because they are trying to protect Buddha sasana in the absence of Buddha as described by Buddha . one can go to nearest Pagoda if he has any confusion . king Milinda also removed his confusion on Buddhism by asking questions to Arahat Nagasena . Ebooks are available in internet . :)
Artificial Intelligence do u have any historical evidence for these buddhas? like the great gautama buddha
Tanmoy Chowdhury @Artificial Intelligence : Gautama Buddha mentioned their names and ages . I read in a book.but i can not remember the book's name now . Their( previous Buddha's) Dhamma teachings and Gautama Buddha Dhamma teachings were same as it mentioned in Dhamma Sutra (Swakkhato Bhagobato dhammo ....) . If you read Buddha's life about his previous births you will find Some of the Buddha's name also mentioned in Jataka ( Previous birth history of Buddha ) described by Buddha . .You can meet a Buddhist Monk if you are interested to know Buddha deeply . You can read dhamma book from this websitehttp://www.dhammadownload.com/eBook-English.htm. Buddha told that it is our act that decides our future . He showed the way of enlightenment. it is up to us whether we follow or not .
Suresh Madusanka Ranrahas-com A God who are creating people who are very good, kind, honest; but he send that people to hell just because they didn't pray to him or they didn't follow him or just because they followed any other religion. I don't thing that it is fair and logical. He creates people who don't even beleive him and there are some people in remote areas who don't even know about a God, If he will accept them into heaven then he will accept other too. Common sense is enough to understand these kind of things. Our subconscious mind is created with our knowledge, thoughts, experience and etc, that is why it is difficult to forget a person we love, just because our subconscious mind is attached to him or her. Same happens to us when we talk about our religions. It is very difficult to change our subconscious mind, Buddha well explained about subconscious mind and he told us to do meditation to change our subconscious mind to remove greed which gives us another birth. Most God believers are afraid even o think about any other religion and to think against their religion, they think that their God will be angry with them, which prevent them to learn about other religions and to ignore their common sense. There are Gods who become angry with people if they didn't complete the promises to give some offerings or worships to a God for the help he did for them, which you asked him to do (according to the Hinduism and Buddhism).
Sally Mya-Win @Artificial Intelligence, do u have any historical evidence of the God you pray ?
Sally Mya-Win I asked this because of your question (do u have any historical evidence for these buddhas? like the great gautama buddha )

is this true?
Historical criticism has proved that the original teachings of Buddha can never be known.

3. why nature created non-Buddhist.?
3:04pm
Buddha was silent about the existence or non-existence of God. It may be that since India was drowned in idol worship and anthropomorphism that a sudden step to monotheism would have been drastic and hence Buddha may have chosen to remain silent on the issue of God. He did not deny the existence of God. Buddha was once asked by a disciple whether God exists? He refused to reply. When pressed, he said that if you are suffering from a stomach ache would you concentrate on relieving the pain or studying the prescription of the physician. "It is not my business or yours to find out whether there is God – our business is to remove the sufferings of the world".
Buddhism provided Dhamma or the ‘impersonal law’ in place of God. However this could not satisfy the craving of human beings and the religion of self-help had to be converted into a religion of promise and hope. The Hinayana sect could not hold out any promise of external help to the people. The Mahayana sect taught that Buddha’s watchful and compassionate eyes are on all miserable beings, thus making a God out of Buddha. Many scholars consider the evolution of God within Buddhism as an effect of Hinduism.
Many Buddhists adopted the local god and thus the religion of ‘No-God’ was transformed into the religion of ‘Many-Gods’ – big and small, strong and weak and male and female. The ‘Man-God’ appears on earth in human form and incarnates from time to time. Buddha was against the caste-system prevalent in the Hindu society.

"There will arise in the world a Buddha named Maitreya (the benevolent one) a holy one, a supreme one, an enlightened one, endowed with wisdom in conduct, auspicious, knowing the universe:
"What he has realized by his own supernatural knowledge he will publish to this universe. He will preach his religion, glorious in its origin, glorious at its climax, glorious at the goal, in the spirit and the letter. He will proclaim a religious life, wholly perfect and thoroughly pure; even as I now preach my religion and a like life do proclaim. He will keep up the society of monks numbering many thousands, even as now I keep up a society of monks numbering many hundreds".
According to Sacred Books of the East volume 35 pg. 225:
"It is said that I am not an only Buddha upon whom the leadership and order is dependent. After me another Buddha maitreya of such and such virtues will come. I am now the leader of hundreds, he will be the leader of thousands."

C) According to the Gospel of Buddha by Carus pg. 217 and 218 (From Ceylon sources):
"Ananda said to the Blessed One, ‘Who shall teach us when thou art gone?'
And the Blessed one replied, 'I am not the first Buddha who came upon the earth nor shall I be the last. In due time another Buddha will arise in the world, a holy one, a supremely enlightened one, endowed with wisdom in conduct, auspicious, knowing the universe, an incomparable leader of men, a master of angels and mortals. He will reveal to you the same eternal truths, which I have taught you. He will preach his religion, glorious in its origin, glorious at the climax and glorious at the goal. He will proclaim a religious life, wholly perfect and pure such as I now proclaim. His disciples will number many thousands while mine number many hundreds.'
Ananda said, 'How shall we know him?'
The Blessed one replied, 'He will be known as Maitreya'."
(i) The Sanskrit word ‘Maitreya’ or its equivalent in Pali ‘Metteyya’ means loving, compassionate, merciful and benevolent. It also means kindness and friendliness, sympathy, etc. One Arabic word which is equivalent to all these words is ‘Rahmat’. In Surah Al-Anbiya:

[Al-Qur’an 21:107]
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was called the merciful, which is ‘Maitri’.
(ii) The words Mercy and Merciful are mentioned in the Holy Qur’an no less than 409 times.
(iii) Every chapter of the Glorious Qur’an, except Chapter 9, i.e. Surah Taubah begins with the beautiful formula, 'Bismillah Hir-Rahman Nir-Rahim', which means 'In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful'.
(iv) The Word Muhammad is also spelt as ‘Mahamet’ or ‘Mahomet’ and in various other ways in different languages. The word ‘Maho’ or ‘Maha’ in Pali and Sanskrit mean Great and Illustrious and ‘Metta’ means mercy. Therefore ‘Mahomet’ means ‘Great Mercy’.

2. Buddha’s doctrine was Esoteric and Exoteric:
According to Sacred Books of the East, volume 11, pg. 36 Maha-Parinibbana Sutta chapter 2 verse 32:
"I have preached the truth without making any distinction between exoteric and esoteric doctrine, for in respect of truths, Ananda, the Tathagata has no such thing as the closed fist of a teacher, who keeps something back".
Muhammad (pbuh) on the commandment of Almighty God delivered the message and doctrine without making any distinction between esoteric and exoteric. The Qur'an was recited in public in the days of the Prophet and is being done so till date. The Prophet had strictly forbidden the Muslims from hiding the doctrine
3. Devoted Servitors of the Buddhas:
According to Sacred Books of the East volume 11 pg. 97 Maha-Parinibbana Sutta Chapter 5 verse 36:
3. Devoted Servitors of the Buddhas:
According to Sacred Books of the East volume 11 pg. 97 Maha-Parinibbana Sutta Chapter 5 verse 36:
"Then the Blessed one addressed the brethren, and said, ‘Whosoever, brethren have been Arahat-Buddhas through the long ages of the past, they were servitors just as devoted to those Blessed ones as Ananda has been to me. And whosoever brethren shall be the Arahat-Buddhas of the future, there shall be servitors as devoted to those Blessed ones as Ananda has been to me’."
The Servitor of Buddha was Ananda. Muhammad (pbuh) also had a servitor by the name Anas (r.a.) who was the son of Malik. Anas (r.a...) was presented to the Prophet by his parents. Anas (r.a...) relates: "My mother said to him, 'Oh Messenger of God, here is your little servant'." Further Anas relates, "I served him from the time I was 8 years old and the Prophet called me his son and his little beloved". Anas (r.a...) stayed by the Prophet in peace and in war, in safety as well as in danger till the end of his life.
i) Anas (r.a.), even though he was only 11 years old stayed beside the Prophet during the battle of Uhud where the Prophet’s life was in great danger.
ii) Even during the battle of Honain when the Prophet was surrounded by the enemies who were archers, Anas (r.a...) who was only 16 years old stood by the Prophet.
ii) Even during the battle of Honain when the Prophet was surrounded by the enemies who were archers, Anas (r.a...) who was only 16 years old stood by the Prophet.
Anas (R) can surely be compared with Ananda who stood by Gautam Buddha when the mad elephant approached him.
4. Six Criteria for Identifying Buddha:
According to the Gospel of Buddha by Carus pg. 214:
"The Blessed one said, ‘There are two occasions on which a Tathagata’s appearance becomes clear and exceedingly bright. In the night Ananda, in which a Tathagata attains to the supreme and perfect insight, and in the night in which he passes finally away in that ultra passing which leaves nothing whatever of his earthly existence to remain.’ "
According to Gautam Buddha, following are the six criteria for identifying a Buddha.
i) A Buddha attains supreme and perfect insight at night-time.
ii) On the occasion of his complete enlightenment he looks exceedingly bright
iii) A Buddha dies a natural death.
iv) He dies at night-time.
v) He looks exceedingly bright before his death.
vi) After his death a Buddha ceases to exist on earth.
i) Muhammad (pbuh) attained supreme insight and Prophethood at night-time.
i) A Buddha attains supreme and perfect insight at night-time.
ii) On the occasion of his complete enlightenment he looks exceedingly bright
iii) A Buddha dies a natural death.
iv) He dies at night-time.
v) He looks exceedingly bright before his death.
vi) After his death a Buddha ceases to exist on earth.

Mark Zuckerberg, created Facebook with scripts, hosting etc. Scripts are languages which we write to create a website, Hosting is where we store the scripts, we use servers to host websites. Look at the begining, Mark Zuckerberg didn't create anything he just write the scripts and stored in servers, He just change things. Buddha told that you can't find the beginning of this universe, if he try to do that he will be confused and he will never be able to find it. My every word was from Buddhism and you can find more about them if you search for it. I'm not a Buddhist teacher or any special preacher, I just do self studies about Buddhism, I don't remember page numbers. Tripitaka has 57 books and most books are larger than Quaran. It is useless arguing about the creator, It is better to consider about the things which we can prove.
5:54pm
2. It not true, First council was held with first 3 months, which proves that it was protecting by those monks, monks keep the teachings in their memory, Dharma was remembered as Songs (Sutra/Chantings). That argument is totally wrong, Historical evidence prove that the Theravada Buddhist tradition is the oldest Buddhist tradition which brings almost every teachings of the Buddha. Sri Lankan received Buddhism, 300 year later after Buddha died and Buddhism was written to books to protect Buddhism from many problems. Tripitaka was written in in Sri Lanka in the 1st century BCE (http://buddhism.about.com/od/thetripitaka/a/tripitakahistor_2.htm) Then it was dilivered to many Buddhist countries around the world, like Thailand (Siyam). When British came to Sri Lanka, the tried to destroy Buddhism and all the monks in Sri Lanka was disappeared. There was only few people who was wearing white clothes who was protecting written copies of Buddhist teachings, Letter Sri Lanka had to bring monks from Thailand to restart the generation of monks in Sri Lanka. Your argument is good to misguide people who don't know about Buddhism.

"Buddha was once asked by a disciple whether God exists? He refused to reply. "It is not my business or yours to find out whether there is God – our business is to remove the sufferings of the world " why u r making lies to cheat people? I feel very bad about you. Buddha has given very huge explanation about Gods. Tell lies to ur people to keep them in your religion, if you can't keep them with your cheating then I think your final solution is to kill them..!
6:14pm
You are creating lies : " I am now the leader of hundreds, he will be the leader of thousands." search this line, Buddha didn't tell something like that. Buddha told that there will more Buddhas in Future and the name of the next Buddha is Maitreya. According to Buddha's teachings the amount of followers can be different, more or less.

"Ananda said to the Blessed One, ‘Who shall teach us when thou art gone?" ... Yes Ananda thero asked that question but the answer you are giving is totally a big lie **"": Blessed one replied, 'I am not the first Buddha who came upon the earth nor shall I be the last. His disciples will number many thousands while mine number many hundreds. ** "" Now i can understand how u cheat Muslims and how u r trying to keep them in ur way. I feel sympathy on them. ** This is the correct reply: Buddha told that "thereafter his teachings will be the leader"*** U r doing a good job. you r giving me ur false, bad and ugly secrets.
6:27pm
His teachings means Buddhas teachings. Buddha told that: "thereafter my teachings will be the leader"
6:42pm
Ananda didn't ask this question: "Ananda said, 'How shall we know him?'" "We sent thee not, but as a mercy for all creatures."
[Al-Qur’an 21:107] you can write anything on Quran just because it was written only one thousand two hundred ears ago, I don't think that your Prophet Mohammad Nabi didn't know about Hinduism and Buddhism. I don't think a person who took a sword to kill people can look like that. I don't surprise about your knowledge and actions, according to Buddhism there are even Gods who didn't like Buddhism. I just want to know about the challenges to Buddhism.
7:41pm
I also can write a book with the knowledge of other religions. I can write a book with no mistakes as Muhammad did, even-though Quran has many parts which are not logical, fair, kind, intelligent, believable and merciful.

"The Jathagatas (Buddhas) are only Preachers." Buddhas are not just preachers, the have all the knowledge about universe and living beings, they understood everything, he gave the path which he walked to be enlightened, It is not praying to a God, Buddha call them pagans, Buddha talked about many kind of Pagans. He tough us the reason to reborn and the way to stop rebirth, he didn't tell us to beg for a wisdom, He told us to take the responsibility about our own lives and use meditation techniques to stop rebirth.

You asked the right question, actually Mark Zuckerberg himself is not a real existent, you need to know deep teaching of Buddhism to understand about this. Tripitaka gives us three Subjects of Buddhism, that is why we call it 'Tri' (three). First subject is Vinaya Pitaka which talk about disciplines, Second one Abidharma Pitaka (deep teachings about lives and existence) which you need to know about, Last one is Sutra Pitaka (Buddhist Stories & etc). Abidharma explain about the meaning of 'you' or 'me' or 'Mark Zuckerberg', actually there is no Mark Zuckerberg to create Facebook, if you make a robot which has a good memory, good processing speed, which can analyse things and learn from what it can see and which can react on the situation, you will see him like a human, if you take all our body parts you can't find any part of you which you can call that this is me. brain is the only part which our mind can exist, we will not die if we change or remove any other part of our body. So now we only have to look about the brain, some people don't die even their brain is damaged, which means you can't say that this is the part of my brain which I use to think, brain just give us the capacity to think and understand which is the main difference between human and animals, animals don't usually don't have a good brain to think deeply. Our brain works as a super computer which has a good capacity. When we die our mind don't stop thinking it happens according to cause and effect, main cause is our greed which refuse to leave the body and the mind continues on a unstable soft body till they reach their next destination according to their Karma & etc. we usually call them souls/ghosts/spirits/Athma and etc, which was created with only few materials which we can't even see, Buddha told about that kind of spiritual bodies and he told that there are some spiritual bodies which only a spiritually developed persons can see. As an example we can't see Ultraviolet light but there are animals who can see that light, Buddha explained that their are things which normal people can't see. If Mark Zuckerberg remove greed from his mind he will be like a robot who will not have a rebirth. A super robot can make a website as Mark Zuckerberg did. A super robot who works on cause and effect made a website which is also a part of the cause and effect. I'm trying to tell you that there is not a Mark Zuckerberg to create Facebook, everything in this universe is subjected to cause and effect which we can't understand because as normal people we don't have required intelligent, knowledge and tools to measure it. When you say he created it, if you understand the reality you will not find 'he' to create it. When there is not a 'he', there is just 'created', which we can call just happened on cause and effect. This is not rocket science, this is more than that. Abidharma part in Buddhism is very difficult for a normal person to understand, he discussed about it only with very intelligent monks and Gods.

My first question to the atheist will be: "What is the definition of God?" For a person to say there is no God, he should know what is the meaning of God. If I hold a book and say that ‘this is a pen’, for the opposite person to say, ‘it is not a pen’, he should know what is the definition of a pen, even if he does not know nor is able to recognise or identify the object I am holding in my hand. For him to say this is not a pen, he should at least know what a pen means. Similarly for an atheist to say ‘there is no God’, he should at least know the concept of God. His concept of God would be derived from the surroundings in which he lives. The god that a large number of people worship has got human qualities - therefore he does not believe in such a god. Similarly a Muslim too does not and should not believe in such false gods.

1.) If you know the memory of Ananda thero, you will not ask that question. He can remember every word of a talk of anyone and he could repeat it at anytime. If you don't believe it you can find people like that even now, You can find them if you search the internet. their was a young boy in my School who can remember phone numbers or anything we tell him to remember, he tell us back even after few months. Monks around him was not simple characters, many of them had good history about their knowledge. Buddha taught them around 45 years, it is their responsibility to keep the teachings in their mind, It was not difficult because the teachings was converted to like song or prayers with only few vowel sounds, which they was practicing and discussing. Buddha told that his Dharma will protected in an Island **(Sri Lanka and many Kings throughout their rule, protected and established it further in this island nation which Gautama Buddha has thrice visited and predicted that Buddha Sasanaya will be protected here for five thousand years http://www.buddhaviews.com/history_of_buddhism.htm) **(The only country he visited outside of Jambudipa (Greater India) was Sri Lanka, for the Buddha knew that this was a place where his doctrine would shine in glory in the future.http://www.newyorkbuddhist.org/what_buddha_taught/buddhas%20visit.htm) ... It was not required to write it at that time, Son of King Ashoka and his daughter (who was enlightened monks) officially brought Buddhism into Sri Lanka by converting the King Thissa. Buddhism had a good protection in Sri Lanka. If you read about historical places which have mentioned in Buddhism you can find many places as it was written if you visit there. It proofs that his teachings was well protected and the monks who was living in Sri Lanka new about the geographical and cultural background of India. Tri = tree > Tri+Pitaka > the three baskets of Dhamma..

Nature made the super robot, We can make super humans or animals by reorganizing the genes of them. Scientist saying if there are proteins which contain only more than 50 protons. It is the basic requirement to build a smallest gene (DNA), When if there are many proteins together it might create a gene, if it could create a gene, a gene will create more proteins, with a collection of genes, proteins, water, acids and etc it might create a SINGLE-CELLED ORGANISMS (eg: amoeba) which can break and create more single-celled organisms, and it can create small plants which can absorb energy from the son or from chemicals which it can react. It might make the smallest plant like a mushroom which creates from bacteria. Then we can expect that evolution can create more complex trees and genes with might create a small process which work like an animal (eg: sperm) with it's complex structure but it really don't have a mind. Buddhism says a big story about the life which come to earth, but Buddhism says that we can't find the start of our mind and it explain about a cycle of starting and ending the lives of humans on the earth. To explain about it we have to start it from the end, Buddha told that when the world will end the people will be very small and they will live only 10 years (according to my knowledge which I have heard from many reliable peoples), There will be a huge rain (Murugasan rain) for months which will change their minds and some of them will be mad and some of them will fight with each other, then there will be 7 suns (it might be the planets it is referring which might shine like suns) which will heat the earth till it burn for months, and their will be fire all around the world and the died beings will not able to make a sustainable rebirth on the earth, then their mind will take them a rebirth in the Abaswara Brahma world (a world where they don't feel suffering or happiness), they will be their till they go to a new earth it is just a waiting place which where they could be mentally developed and their greed and bad qualities of mind will be reduced, But when they see a new world around them they go there to search and discover more about it. They have very very lite spiritual bodies which was shining who don't nead to eat and they don't have a sex. Buddhism explain that because their minds was very clean and pure the nature around them was very pure. Buddha told than when our minds change, this nature change according to our mind, and our mind (thoughts which is connected with nature) is a cause to change the nature. The spiritual bodies could discover a world where their was a ground which was looked like honey (I like to think it as protein). Then all of them was going around it and they wanted to know that what it is. And then one person started to taste it, and then as it was happened to be others started to do the same thing which is the nature of living beings that we imitate others without thinking about the result. There is a big story to tell about it, however I will tell you as much as possible. After they eat that honey, the shine of their body was disappeared and their body started to be tough, many many years later the honey was disappeared and nature created some kind of seeds (I think that it might be a small collection of proteins like a small cell) which they couldn't find easily and they had to find and collect them to eat. and again according to Buddhism after many many years later those seeds was disappeared and the was creating small mushrooms which they started to eat, then their body became more tough and they want more foods, they wanted protect their food they wanted to find a good partner to help them, they also wanted to have a their own place and there body was started to grow old and they wanted to make a generation and there body changed to create (give birth to) more people. I think that this is enough to explain about the cycle of the start and the end of this world. I hope that you might understand that all lives was started at the same time with this universe (or galaxy) stared and I think this universe may have started with many lives, not only one a person who had power to start this universe. I have my own complex explanation about the start of this universe, which is not like the Big Bang theory, I think this universe is still growing according to my own scientific knowledge. Buddha didn't answer to that question : How did this universe start? Buddha didn't answer, I think that is the most intelligent way to answer that question. Buddha told that you will not able to find the start of this universe or our lives but you can end this journey of life (Samsara) where there are suffering more than happiness. You are the super robot who is coming with the start of this universe, who you think that you are a maker, creator, man, women, God, Brahma and etc, but if you remove the cause which transfer you from one body to another, you will stop thinking once your super computer stop working. A super computer like Mark Zuckerberg don't know that it (he) works on cause and effect which created Facebook, which was not really created, but it really happened on cause and effect.

I will answer about cause and effect, I will need to explain deep teachings of Buddhism to explain about it.. before that, I like to explain about Gods, I know your definition about the God (almighty) about whom you was talking about, According to Islam 'there is nothing that Almighty God can't do'. I have heard people asking questions like this : can he create a stone which he can't move? .. I don't want to argue about that. I think I have enough knowledge about the power of the God which you called the creator. I don't like to spend my time on teaching Buddhism to you right now, only because don't have enough time and I have my own works to do, but I like to answer to the questions which people have doubts about Buddhism. However I like to give you a brief definition about Gods according to Buddhism. There are six heavens and there are leaders in those heavens who will automatically selected to the leadership according to their merits and good deeds of past lives. The heaven which is most closer to the earth is Thusitha Heaven, Buddha was the kind of that heaven till he come to the earth, You must know that when Siddhartha Gautama was in heaven he was not a Buddha, He was just a God who became the leader of that heaven on his merits, He became a Buddha after he was enlightened on the earth in which he could understand limitless truth about our lives and the universe, and God Maithri received the leadership of the heaven who is waiting to be the next Buddha. There are different type of leaders in other heavens who like to enjoy their heavenly life and they want to make same thing on the earth. There are Gods in heaven who enjoy heavenly things, like they have gardens, and some Gods have many wives who also are (lady) Gods (angles), but they don't sex with Gods, they don't give births, they don't get sick, When they die their body just disappears and they just appears (born) in heaven without a mother but they join with Gods and make families and groups. There are Gods who like Buddhism and there are Gods who don't like Buddhism, they just look at the happiness in heaven and they want to live in heavens and they can collect merits from people by helping people from staying in the heavens, and according to Buddhism there was a monk (according to my memory it was Saripuththa) who behaved like that who was once a God and he didn't like Buddhism and he was happy with the life he had in heaven and he was the leader of that heaven (According to my memory it was Mara Heaven) of that time, but he couldn't understand the impermanence of his heavenly life and once his merits was finished and he had go back to earth and he felt even into a hell. The gods in heaven have different type of abilities, some Gods are powerful and some are not powerful which depends on the state of mind and the merits they have. Gods are not able to see many past lives but they can see some past lives within limits, Not only the Gods in heavens can see the past lives, some Brahmans of that time was able to see past lives of other peoples, but there understanding was not enough to look many past lives of a person. Gods enjoy their life, there are Gods in heaven who followed Buddhism and who are enlightened and their lives will be end in the heaven and they will not have another birth, according to Buddhism millions of Gods was enlightened with the teachings of the Buddha, Buddha could go to heaven from his mind and he taught deep teachings to those Gods, It says he taught Abidharma to Gods continually 3 months. And there is a different between times in heavens and on the earth according to Buddhism, they might not have only 24 hours for a day, according to Buddhism one single day in heaven is equal to hundreds of years, and Gods usually have a big life time which makes some Gods to think that they are eternal. It says that once Siddhartha Gautama became a Buddha, some Gods in heaven was shocked/feared by knowing that they are not eternal and the requirement to understand the Dharma to remove the risk of a bad rebirth. But is says some Gods in heavens don't feel the requirement of Nirvana just because they don't feel suffering and they don't have enough understanding about suffering. There is a story about heavenly life of a monk call Ananda Maitreya who lived 103 years in Sri Lanka and died in 1996, he said that he could read/control others mind and he could see his past lives, he is very popular in Sri Lanka for his teachings and the spiritual powers, and he was saying that he is completing his task to be a Buddha in future, He told that his previous life was in Thusitha Heaven and he came to the earth to protect Buddhism, and he told that the Maitreya (Who will be the next Buddha) leader of Thusitha Heaven sent a group to earth to protect Buddhism. However I read it on a book of person who made it with a collection of articles of a news paper. Many people are believing it and some people don't believe it. However There is a Story in Buddhism which says that there was a God who went to their garden with his 500 angles (wives) and they was moving around the garden, and God was looking for a Angle (Lady God) who was not there in the garden, then finally when they was about to leave the garden that angle (who was missing) came to the God and then God asked her that 'where did you go? and I didn't see you since morning', then she told him that she had to go to the earth to collect merits for her heavenly life, and she told that she lived around 100 years on the earth and she had a husband, couple of children and she could to do many good things (which is hard and have to suffer to do) to collect merits. It says when she was living on the earth she could know about her past life of the heaven and she was waiting to go back to heaven. Gods can take merits from the people on the earth, we can do good things then we can wish Gods who protect us and get a part from our merits. Not only Gods can take merits but also there are some other spiritual bodies who can receive merits from us, that is why we give donations on the name of people who died. When we do good things we can be happy and we can share that happiness with others and happiness is the merit they receive. There are Gods who are protecting Buddhism, and there are Gods who don't like some kind of practices of meditation and they try to interrupt it. Body of Gods looks like kings and queens (who has a body structure like humans). They can change their look at anytime, some of the even can convert their body into an animal or human and they can come to the earth like a human or animal, there are many stories in Buddhism about Gods who came to the earth in different forms (Like a God, Human, Animal etc), It says people can see lights when Gods come to some kind of special places on the earth. They visit to the earth to meat some spiritually developed people and to look at the historical places and thing of the Buddha. There are Gods who live on the earth at some special places and there are some powerless Gods who lives on huge trees who have the control over some kind of areas of a jungle. Power of Gods can be very different, some Gods have very high powers and some don't have it. There are Gods who are living at many places (earth, sky & etc). There are Gods who have different type of views, There are many stories about Gods and heavens which will take many hours to tell you, I'll tell you more about Gods later, I hope might understand the nature of Gods who have different powers, knowledge, experience, purposes and etc. I think it is better if you can search it by yourself from books, talk and etc.

We are created not only with the matter that we can see, that is why people misunderstand that we have a special soul which never dies. According to Buddhism our mind is not only attached to the matter we can see and tough, our mind is attached to a spiritual body which a normal person can't see or touch, which is not a soul which never dies, but our mind creates that kind of body to continue our thoughts, and we are attached to that kind of bodies just because our greed which forms a body to continue our mind. And our spiritual body is formed with spiritual materials which is a part of the nature and which is subjected to the cause and effect of the nature. That spiritual body doesn't destroy with the death of our physical body, and it is just a fake death, and according to Buddhism it is just another change of the name and the form, which happens in every moments of our lives. The super computers, which the nature created is not only connected with the physical body we see, but also it is connected with some kind of spiritual materials which create some components to run/continue the mind even it is unplugged from the main super computer which is created with physical materials. Therefor we can't expect the same process of the mind which there was when it was with the main super computer and when it is unplugged. The process of a mind of a spiritual body can be different on the qualities and most recent activities of the person. There are huge explanations in Buddhism about the process of mind, and it deeply explain about the moments of mind and how it start, exist and end, which happens continually while we live. It is difficult for me to explain about it now, and it is not so simple to explain. There are lot of details about it which has many things to describe, and it is a part of Abidharma which I can't explain like this. I might able to send you some eBooks on it if you want to know more about it, which will explain the process of the mind and about the reality of the life which is not a real existence. As I described here there is a continuation of thoughts which continues on our previous actions (Karma), our birth/body (DNA), environment (country/caste/weather) and accidents (car accident/earthquake and etc), which can change our lives. Those are the causes and effects which effects on us to change our thoughts and actions, according to the Buddhism.

If you read the description of it you can find it says that Nebula is a dying start (Cat's Eye Nebula, Three thousand light-years away, the Cat's Eye Nebula, a dying star throws off shells of glowing gas.) When a start die it create gases and lights. It is a huge star which is dying and creating more start from the parts of it. http://burro.astr.cwru.edu/stu/stars_birth.html : "There are two kind of nebula, First kind is the nebula which created from the beginnings of the universe, and second kind of nebulae are produced by the supernovas of exploding stars. Atoms were created in the universe, and Nebula which started with the universe contain not only atoms but also with original matter from the beginnings of the universe. A nebula can be a mixture of primordial material as well as new material from previous stars. All stars are born out of nebulae (singular is nebula), 'neutron stars' and 'black holes' are considered to be "dead" stars. ''. "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milky_Way : conjectured that some of the nebulae visible in the night sky might be separate 'galaxies' themselves, similar to our own.". "http://atropos.as.arizona.edu/aiz/teaching/a250/shapley_curtis.html : 'spiral nebulae' were galaxies -- island universes in their own right." Some nebula which forms starts, planets and etc, is an island universe which is similar to the milky way (our galaxy) which has a shining dot at the center. And those are just another form of small galaxies which are situated at inside and outside of our large galaxy. As you can see a nebula is also a part of this entire universe which contains some kind of gases and dust and which is similar to a galaxy and which created as same as our galaxy was created. It means a nebula which might have some kind of universal materials and which is similar to a galaxy which creates starts, planet and etc brings the same question which we ask about our own galaxy. I think that this universe is working on cause and effect, which moves, changes and forms itself to be stabilized (reduce the frequency of shaking). Black holes which exist inside this universe which is is totally black and it has a huge gravity which collect/grab/absorb things (planets, starts, light/energy :http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/news/5555/black-hole-caught-eating-star) from this universe/galaxy. And once it become unstable, it blows up and recreate new nebula and galaxies (http://www.insidescience.org/content/every-black-hole-contains-new-universe/566 ). I think it is a cycle which will never end.

I believe on that type of miracles as about that baby. There is a girl who make crystals from her eyes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ho04dWXg0gM). And we can find much more miracles of Gods and humans. According to Buddhism some miracles can happen on a wish of our past life, and it requires to have some kind of merits of our past life to make happen something like that. Buddha wished to be a Buddha, and wishing is a greed which did not enlightened him until he attain the Buddha-hood. There was a person who did a great sacrifice and wished not to hear the word 'NO' again in the future, and then when he became a monk at a time of a Buddha he never heard that word ('NO') from anyone. There was a poor farmer who gave his lunch to a enlightened monk who came to him after a long meditation, and then the paddy-field of the farmer was converted into Gold. There are many stories like that. We can wish to have a birth in heaven which will influence the possibility to have a rebirth in heaven. Any thing can happen in this universe which we can't even imagine. There are people who can bend iron spoons with the power of their mind, there are people who can stay without eating or drinking for months, and some says that a baby started talking minutes after being born (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64491), You can find lot of miracles of Yogi's in India, I think some people can receive powers and abilities from their past lives and they might become the persons whom they wanted to be in their past lives. If that incident about the baby is not a hoax, he might be a reincarnation of a person who wanted to prove that the Quaran is the book we want to follow. Or it can be a work of spiritual developed being who could do it with his power of mind but I think it might happened on his own Karma. I heard a scientist was saying that "this universe is not only queer than we think, but it is queer than we can think". And I think miracles are not an important part of a religion, It might help to cure/save/protect/guide/misguide few people for a while, but because of the variety of miracles which happens around us, a normal person can't get a clear idea to understand the reality from it, and we need to look at much more things to understand the reality.

I like to add some more details about that baby to complete this conversation. I searched more about it but it looks like a hoax. I like to give you some reasons which made me think like that. 1.) His mother says that the 'baby is suffering when it happens' ("It's impossible to hold him when it's happening, his body is actively moving, so we put him into his cradle. It's so hard to watch him suffering."http://www.wikiislam.net/wiki/Baby_with_Qur'anic_Verses), Miracles usually don't hurt anyone, why someone hurt him to do that! and why he couldn't do it without hurting him!, that girl who creates crystals from her eyes didn't feel any pain when it happens. This looks like a publicity stunt created by a group of people (including the mother). 2.) "The parents say first they decided not to tell anyone about it, but when they saw the words “show my signs to the people” then showed photos of him to a doctor,http://forums.islamicawakening.com/f18/quran-ayat-appear-body-newborn-baby-dagestan-29461/" Why parent become afraid to tell about it to anyone!. They tried to pretend that they was afraid about it and they wouldn't have told it to anyone if it didn't say to 'show my signs to the people'. There is a similar story of a baby who born with a mini Quaran in his hand (http://nigeriafilms.com/news/17241/54/baby-boy-born-with-quran-in-lagos-nigeria-more-pic.html), and it says: "When my baby was delivered holding a Quran in his hand, the nurse said the Quran should be thrown away. But I insisted my mother must see it before any action could be taken,” Kikelomo, who is a Christian." As much as I know about respected people, a nurse wouldn't tell a mother to throw away a holy book of their religion! which sounds that they may have developed the story with few stunts. (*Mother of the baby participated to the drama for money who was very poor and who didn’t even have a husband to take care of them.) 3.) "Also if you look at the writing and many other miracles of Allah's writing (i.e. the honeycomb that says Allah, the tomato) then you will see how eloquently the word Allah is written. The calligraphy is awesome in those but on teh leg if you look closely it looks pretty sloppy. Now why would Allah (swt) want to write His own name sloppily? This is mere work of man and no it's not child abuse, it's merely using Henna on the body, many children do this regularly for decoration on their hands." (http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091022053234AAke8Iv *[2]) 4.) There are much more stories like that which created to gain publicity such as following: Often reported the image of Jesus appearing in various places including on a toast, they recently sold it on the eBay. Another time it appeared on the bark of a tree and a third time in a little town that was losing tourists; now the tourists are back. (*[2]) What we can tell about this?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RRtD8Lgm4s isn't it real? can we accept an unclear miracle to prove a religion? 5.) It says that they just showed photos of the words to the doctors, it looks like only the parents were able to see those signs, i) "Initially they did not show anyone the unexplained scribbles, but eventually revealed them to their doctor."http://www.wikiislam.net/wiki/Baby_with_Qur'anic_Verses ii) "They photographed the markings and showed them to doctors who couldn't give any explanation for the "birthmarks"" and they then took more photographs to the local imam, who recognised them as verses from the Qur'an."(http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/andrewbrown/2009/nov/13/miracle-baby-dagestan). 5.) Photos are not clear and the color of the words can see around his leg which look like someone had erased the words which they wrote earlier! why they couldn't find a video to shoot it!, This is 21 century we can even shoot it from a mobile phone, but there are only few photos which are not even clear but also the photos of the legs which we can find from many sources are just another photos which retaken from the original photos. Original photos which available at some places has taken with a distance which becomes unclear when we zoom it. the videos available on the internet only shows the photos of the baby with those words, there is not a live video of the baby while taken with those words on his body. They says that the words gradually disappeared, but I couldn't find a photo while disappearing, which sounds that the color of the words might have spread around the leg while it was disappearing or removing which they couldn't show us. 6.) some officials of Russia came to inspecting the baby, but mother say that the the words which was available there since last day was suddenly disappeared while they was inspecting the baby, and reappeared after they went, http://abna.ir/data.asp?lang=3&id=170657 * it seems that they were creating a hoax inside their walls. Said Murtazaliyev, head of the district, who gave protection to that family is also a Muslim who created a good background to cover the situation which he also might didn't know that whether it is a hoax or not. Oddest thing in his story is the reaction of the local Wahabis who are a conservative branch of Sunni Islam *"have repeatedly threatened to burn down the house of Shamil and Madina Yakubovs, after phrases from the Koran began appearing on the body of their nine-month-old son", which sound weird and I don't think same religious followers would do something like that. This family just wanted to create reasons to cover the truth. "A representative of Dagestan Spiritual Governance for Muslims did not provide any comments. He said he was surprised like everyone else. Ludmila Luss, a local doctor, believes that the story with the inscriptions is masterminded by the boy's parents. "They might have treated his skin with irritants, such as pepper and salt, or medications, which trigger skin inflammation and leave red traces in the shape of Arabic characters," she said." (http://www.squidoo.com/Ali-Yakubov).
I think you have found a good source to attract people, but it is not only doesn't provide clear evidence, but also it is not enough to prove a religion if you compare it with other miracles of this world which happens on their own religious beliefs. People might able to find information and evidence about the start of this universe, if they search about it, but it is impossible to find facts about this type of miracles which depends only on photos (which was taken without a participation of a reliable source) and statements of few people (who can do anything for money or in the name a religion) both we can never trust without doubts. Why they wouldn't use a powerful method like this to attract people very easily without forcing or teaching!

After a long silent, finally I like to point out some information which might heart your heart.
According to the Islam every rich person must go to Kaaba to worship, and there are much more rules in the Quaran which Muslims must do. I think the writer of the Quaran wanted to control people like slaves. Where the slavery was a big industry at the time in the middle east, which made the writer of Quaran to write it with many rules, similar to the rules they used to control slaves. However I finally like to end (as if you might want me to end) my comments with a famous saying: "Just because thousand idiots believe something, that doesn't make it true" as there was a time when millions of God believers was thinking that this earth is a flat plate which a God created in the beginning of this universe before he created the sun, moon and stars. A few persons who started to prove that this world is not a plate and it is round, was get killed by some stupid idiots of the time who believed that the earth is a plate which a God created.
Finally, I like to thank you for making me to revive my own understanding.
Best of luck.

Mr. Suresh thanks for having a great patience. I enjoy very much about you that read about Buddhism. Just advice him to read the book "The Milinga Pronya".
ReplyDeleteActually he too weak to introduce him self being hiding his own identity. He is not willing to learn about the reality at all unless he may read more but he afraid that he would be infidel, as a result he will be punished and get into hell.
Hi,
DeleteThank you for your comment.
"Artificial Intelligence" still sending me more details. I'll update this blog with those once I end that conversation.
Thank you for your information and I'll try to find an English edition of that book (The Milinga Pronya) to acknowledge him about it.
